Natco Cumin Seeds Black 300G

Could not find black cumin (Kala Jeera) seeds in any of the Asian supermarkets in Croydon/Thornton Heath. It's much milder than regular cumin and has a different flavour profile.Apparently it's widely used to cure obesity in the Middle East. As it was only available in 300g bags. it looks as though I will be losing a lot of weight over the next few months :-)

I take 2tsp of this ground up for my epilepsy. Since I weaned myself of AED's, which I soon discovered had been making my generalised epilepsy considerably worse, I have discovered that ground cumin seed is the best thing ever for holding off epilepsy next to smiling. Huge bag at a good price, where buying in small jars in the supermarket would be so expensive. Thoroughly recommend.

They item arrived as promised and whilst we have not opened the packets as yet. We are sure that they we be of good quality.

First, proper black cumin seeds used in Indian cooking (and other cuisines) are black. The seeds I received were not black. More of a greeny-brown colour. Second, proper black cumin seeds do not smell anything like regular cumin seeds, as the seeds I was sent did. Third, black cumin seeds are a different shape to regular cumin seeds. I will avoid this brand in future

Not black cummin seeds, despite mentioned in the packet. Poor quality normal cummin seeds... waste of money. I will avoid NATO brand ever.

It says black seed, but it doesn’t look like inside the packet I received so very disappointed
