The brush is not very convenient; it picks up too much mascara, making the lashes look thick and clumpy. It’s also hard to remove, and it smudges on the lower lashes. Not a big fan.

Let me start out by saying, this is probably the worst mascara I have ever tried. One swipe and my lashes were probably 80% black sludge. This stuff clumped so bad. It was clumping on itself.The formula is thick and heavy.I don't think the problem is with the brush. The problem is the formula. After I tried it with the original brush, I cut the spoolie off and disinfected before closing up the bottle. I gathered up 4 women in my family, and we applied the mascara with disposable spoolies and got similar results.This is an absolute waste...

I was excited to try this SHEGLAM Lift & Elevate Lengthening Mascara because it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and waterproof, which are important features I look for in beauty products. It did a great job lengthening my lashes and lasted all day without smudging or flaking. I really liked how my lashes looked after applying it.The one downside for me is the design of the wand. It only has bristles on one side, and there are just a few of them. I typically apply mascara by twisting the wand through my lashes, but with this design, that technique doesn’t work well. I also felt like it needed more bristles to help separate the lashes evenly and prevent slight clumping.Overall, the formula itself is long-lasting, waterproof, and delivers nice length and definition. If the wand design were improved with more bristles or a fuller brush, this would be a five-star product for me.

If there was only one makeup product I could use for the rest of my life, it would be mascara. So I can confidently say I've had my fair share of trying soooo many over the last 20 years. Now, I know what I prefer in a mascara is not what everyone else wants, but I think I can speak for the majority and say the wand for this is just awful. I've tried to use it as many ways as I can think of, and just, no. However, the formula is actually really great! I love that it's not a super wet consistency. I love a thick, dry-ish, jet black mascara and that's exactly what this is. I also love that the wand is skinny with the spikey, plastic bristles. Those are my all time favorite. If only this was made to have the short spikes all around, it would be an excellent mascara, for me. The price point is perfect. But considering I can't even apply it in a way that ends with great results, I unfortunately can't give 5 stars.

This waterproof mascara is really clumping, but I think the first problem lies in the brush as it seems to just shovel the product onto my lashes and not comb it into them evenly. It's a strange sort of brush and comes out of the tube with so much product but as you apply it, it just mortars it onto the lashes and then smears it around, it's not functional. If you have a fan brush to apply the product, it's better, but the product is still so thick and textured it takes patience and time that a lot of us don't have for something that should be quick and effortless in our routine.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the SHEGLAM Lift & Elevate Lengthening Mascara performed. The formula is smooth and not dry at all, which helps it glide on easily. That slick texture can make application slightly messy at first, but I expect it to improve as the tube gets more use and thickens up a bit.What really stood out to me was the brush. It's not your average spooley so it may present a learning curve for some but I have VERY curly lashes and struggle with a traditional brush. It ends up on my eyelids. This brush allows me to comb on the mascara which fully coats my curly lashes without any getting on my lids. I also like how much length it added with just one coat. My lashes looked noticeably longer without feeling heavy. I did try two coats and found that it started to veer into spidery territory, so I would recommend sticking with one for a more natural look.The waterproof and smudgeproof claims hold up very well. It stayed put throughout the day without flaking or transferring, even in humid weather. I also really appreciate that it's vegan and cruelty-free, which is important to me when choosing makeup.Overall, this is a solid mascara that delivers on its promises. I'm genuinely impressed by the performance and ingredients, especially at this price point.

This mascara is waterproof, as promised, and it does last, but good luck getting it on properly. The brush tip is the worst--barely any bristles to it and a nearly non-existent curve. Mascara was applied in thick blobs and caused lashes to stick together. Feels very heavy, did not lift at all. Gives the look of longer lashes, but that's just what mascara does anyway, so nothing special here. Dried quickly and there is no transfer, so at least it has that going for it.
