Great buy
These punch above their weight class. Perfect size. Very soft. Fast to dry. And good looking as far as regular white bath towels go. Impressive for an Amazon brand, and price point. Haven’t washed yet, and wonder about longevity, but for the price it’s not a big concern

A Very Positive Review I Didn't Expect to be Writing... and a Green Yak in the washing machine
I had gotten these for one purpose only - to use with handwashing. Roll the sweater in a white towel, put it out to dry on my new super-duper drying rack. Simple. Nothing special required, no expectations other than basic cotton towels. Cheap. White. Who cares, right? So imagine my surprise when these turned out to be nicer than expected - so much so, in fact, that they got promoted to potential shower towel, and then that worked out so well, I'm now using them daily. I've dumped my much thicker and not wearing well Turkish towels, and they got the new handwashing gig. I'll be using these for showering to see how they hold up, but a few weeks in, a few washes behind them, and they're worthy of a positive review.UPDATED TO ADD: I decided to get the green ones since they were on super sale. Same towel, should be as good, and I don't use towels for bathroom decor, so I don't care (as much) about what color they are (I don't do dark towels ever - many reasons). I'd describe the green as a grey-green, not unpleasant, but if you do care about the color, be aware that these are nothing close to a warm green. It also darkened a bit after washing, go figure, and it definitely needed to be washed before use.The biggest issue with these latest towels is the amount of shedding from one gentle soak (to get rid of odor) and then a gentle wash. Yowza! It looked like someone washed a green yak in there. The white towels didn't shed at all this way, so I was totally unprepared for my newest washer pet. I had stupidly added some other small pieces in with the towels. BIG MISTAKE. Now they're covered in what looks like green yak fur, too. The towels did come out just as fluffy and usable as the white ones, so not changing the rating, but caveat emptor - expect shedding, wash these alone at least once, and do NOT wash them with anything else.

Lighter Weight But Really Soft
A while back, (May 2019) I purchased three different brands of washcloths trying to find the "best" for me. These from Amazon were the cheapest and, not surprisingly, they are thinner and lighter weight than the others. For reference, the mid-priced cloths are 650 gsm while the most expensive are 900 gsm. I don't know what the gsm for these would be, but I feel confident saying it is most likely 500 or less. The only thing I really disliked was the tags they put on them, so those came off immediately after I washed them. I cut a slit close to the seam where they were attached, then ripped off the tag while pressing down firmly on the seam with the other hand to prevent breaking the thread. They've been washed dozens of times now and there has been no fraying or unraveling of the side seams. There has also been no breaking of the loops that make up the washcloths. There isn't a single thread dangling on any of them.I discovered I like these best for washing my face. Like all our towels, I wash in HOT water with regular detergent and NO FABRIC SOFTNER yet they've remained softer in texture than any of the others. Being thinner, they are easier to rinse and wring out and they dry rapidly. Even after air drying, they aren't stiff when I collect them to place in the laundry basket for laundering. That's something I've not experienced before. For me, the mid-weight work best when bathing and the super-premium are simply too thick and heavy for me when they get wet. They do well absorbing lots of water for drying, but that is what towels are for so they rarely get used. I also don't care for the patterned band on those because it reduces the "useful" area of the washcloth. So, that's what works for me- I hope this helps you decide what might be best for you.

great quality
ok, it’s not sure what you expect from Amazon basics washcloth, but these are great. They are not super thick, but they are not too thin. They are soft, but they’re not microfiber. I recently had a surgery on my face. I needed to wash my face a few times a day, so these got washed and bleached often. they are holding up fine and if I need more washcloths, this is the type I will re-order.

Soft, great size
I want expecting these towels to be as soft and absorbent as they are. They are the perfect thickness. I order the gray and I’ve already washed them several times and the color hasn’t faded. They look more expensive than they were.

Great towel i'm just not for me
The towels are soft, but not as absorbent as I'd like them to be.
