This is my favourite primer. Yes it's on the pricey side but its worth every penny; being able to order it on Amazon is brilliant. I ordered it quite late earlier today selecting delivery by 10pm. It was dispatched and delivered to my house before 7pm. Excellent service, thank you.

Reading all these rave reviews, I was really expecting something amazing. I have my preferred product (which I’m probably not allowed to name in this review), which costs half as much - but to get the results all these reviews were claiming, I was pretty happy to fork out more. Alas, I don’t think it is even as good as my usual (cheaper, but still expensive and still a premium brand) product. My skin didn’t look much different after applying it (whereas, with my usual product, i often don’t bother with foundation). It did possibly help make-up go on more smoothly, and does not noticeably collect in enlarged pores, so that’s good (but there are many products that are similarly good in that respect). It’s okay, but not, IMO, worth anything like the incredibly exorbitant price charged. You can get results just as good or better from many blur/primer products available on the high street even.

Lovely, silky feel. Keeps make up in place all day. Shame its so pricey but I managed to get it when on offer so paid around £65 instead of £90. Would highly recommend

I’ve been using this primer for a few years now, and it’s honestly blown everything I’ve ever used out of the water. The quality is superior, and it works just as described, so I believe that justifies the high price tag. It helps reduce redness, prevent oiliness, smooth any texture, and blur my pores. Although it doesn’t completely blur all of my pores, I’d say it covers at least 95% of them. It looks like I have an Instagram filter over my face, which gives the appearance of porcelain skin (hence the Geisha inspiration). I’ve never experienced any cracking, creasing, fading, or smudging. Even after 12+ hours of wear, my makeup remains fresh. Even when it’s a super hot day and I’m sweating, my makeup doesn’t budge. Even when it was pouring buckets outside, my makeup stayed put. This stuff is truly amazing. As for the application, it’s extremely quick and easy. The small spatula it comes with to remove the product is genius. On first contact, this appears to have a slightly thicker consistency than your average primer, but it melts into your skin instantly. I love the silky feel it gives; it adds to the luxury of this primer. I personally use a little more product than the recommended amount, and I like to wait a few minutes before applying my makeup. As for the scent, it’s faint and doesn’t linger. For reference on my skin type, I have dry/normal skin. In terms of the authenticity of ordering this primer on Amazon, I can say with certainty that it’s legit. Tatcha is the seller, so it’s no different than purchasing it from their official brand website or Sephora. The only difference is that you receive it much sooner, and if the timing is right, you can purchase it at a much lower price. I’m currently running low on my Tatcha silk canvas primer, so I bought one on Prime Day for $37 bucks! That’s a $17 dollar difference (talk about a saving!). The packaging came in typical Tatcha fashion. The primer came in a vacuum-sealed bag and was placed in a little drawer-like box with a small disc-shaped spatula. The primer itself came in flawless condition, as it should. The outside packaging looked a tiny bit dingy, but that didn’t bother me. As long as the actual product is intact, that’s all that matters.

I have been using Tatcha for many years in Canada , from when you had to order from their website where all products are made in Japan and shipped via USA and had to pay exchange rates and customs....but the quality, care and results kept me hooked. I am thrilled I can now purchase from their website in Canadian dollars or from Amazon! I have very sensitive skin and these are the only products that don't irritate because it's natural and gentle, but the results are absolutely amazing. The products last longer than commercial brands as a little does go a long way. I also appreciate Tatcha uses part of their sales to support young girls in a poor country to receive an education and a chance of a future. I am definitely a Tatcha girl, and hope other women appreciate the brand.
