Nice! Great magnifier. Had a nice light. Like that it takes screenshots. I have had melanoma 2x and I am using this to see questionable spots so the doctor can check them out when I attend my quarterly visits.

First Impressions: The dermatoscope looks sleek and compact right out of the box. The little screen and LED lights make it seem more high tech than it really is. Setup was easy, and I liked that it felt lightweight and portable. Testing Experience: I tried this over the course of a week, mostly on my face and scalp. The magnification does let you see pores, fine hairs, and skin texture close up, and the LEDs definitely help with lighting. However, despite the description, it doesn’t “analyze” anything. It’s basically a digital magnifier with a screen good for curiosity, but not for serious skin health insights. Pros & Cons: Pros: Decent image quality for a handheld device. Adjustable LED lighting helps with clarity. Fun for casual inspection of skin, pores, and hair. Cons: No real “analysis” features just magnification. Not professional level, despite how it’s marketed. Final Takeaway: This is fine if you want a pocket sized digital magnifier for curiosity or hobby use, but if you’re hoping for true skin or scalp health analysis, this isn’t it. I’d call it a neat gadget, not a diagnostic tool. ★★★☆☆

I absolutely love this skin analyzer magnifying camera! It is rechargeable and comes with a USB-C cable, although it doesn’t come with a wall adapter so if you don’t already have one, you must purchase one separately. It offers 2MP image capturing. For reference the newest iPhone 16 has 24-48MP image capturing capacity. The device has a slot to insert a microSD card to save images to review to be able to monitor and compare before and after skin or hair treatments. You must purchase this separately since it doesn’t have built in storage. This device is absolutely perfect for myself who is a lover of skin care and hair care! I also have skin conditions such as eczema and rosacea. I’ve also been on an IPL journey to remove unwanted hair and this device helps me visual very fine hairs that have not be properly removed by my at home IPL device. I recently had a very severe eczema flare up on both of my legs that caused post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and this handy device allowed me to properly visualize the areas that are “healing” and the areas that are still inflamed. It also helps me visualize the integrity of my skin barrier and how moisturized or dry my skin is. It also helps me see the difference between moisturized and non-moisturized skin. What I love most is that it helps me see the differences between different skin care products and their effects after application. I highly recommend this for skin care lovers, hair care/scalp care lovers, and those with skin conditions.

I ordered this out of curiosity. I realised that it is just a computer based microscope and not an analyzer before ordering, but I thought that I could examine skin and hair to be able to see differences or issues when encountered. It does let you see some issues, but not with as much clarity as expected. At least I can use it to keep track of skin colouration changes. I am rating it four stars as it does not have to be connected to wires when used and it serves more useful purposes than expected. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

It's interesting, but the images aren't as clear as advertised. Unless you use this to help get imaging to show an actual doc, it's not a diagnostic tool. It's useful if you get flare ups that fade before you can get in front of a doc. It's also just... interesting to see things zoomed in.
