Jumbo hot dogs anyone?
Very happy with my purchase. I don't use the bun openings, as I don't like my buns toasted. I set the unit on #4 and the buns toast okay. I toast the jumbo Nathan hot dog twice, as I like them that way. The fit the opening with room to spare. I also use Hebrew National Jumbo hot dogs as well.I would purchase this again.

It is fun to use. It does toast the bread around the edges more but it is ok. I like it.

My grandson loves it and it’s safe for him to use it since his mom is in and out of the hospital.

Didn't work as planned.
I had high hopes up of being able to toast hot dog buns. I normally use Aunt Millie's honey hot dog buns. Due to the size of the way they are, I vouch to get me some cheap Walmart hot dog buns. When I got the toaster in, I tested it with Aunt Millie's and they were too large to fit in the slots. So I tried to Walmart once and they seem to fit in okay. I went ahead and tested the settings. The all final result was it basically burnt the edges of the hot dog buns. It left the centers still soft and that's not really what I wanted. There is one other thing that I seem to can't understand with any kind of toaster. Is that they want to design them where the cord is up at the front. Why not have the cord come out the back? These designs just seem to baffle me.

Great for camping!
We bought this hot dog toaster for our camper so the kids can cook and roast hotdogs if we don’t have access to a campfire. It’s small and easy to store when we don’t have a lot of space. We got to use it this weekend and it’s probably the best thing we have ever bought for camping! It was easy to clean since there’s a nice “crumb catcher” in the bottom. The kids thought it was the coolest invention and it was easy for them to use. The only thing I would suggest is the tongs are pretty flimsy so just bring a better set of tongs to get them out

Great concept. Opportunity to perfect design.
Putting a hot dog roll in is hard. Sticks to the metal putting in and taking out resulting in a mangled roll - toast roll by some other means.Hot dog cooks the end sticking up quite well. Rest of hot dog is cold. Cook dog by some other means.

Decent toaster. Seems a little cheap, but you get what you pay for. Hopefully it works as expected.
