This is the only laser level I've owned so I can't compare to others but this one works perfectly.You can have 1, 2, or 3 lasers on at a time. I used it for hanging photos, mirrors, and remodeling a bathroom.The accuracy seems spot on. I measured multiple times from different locations while tiling my bathroom and the laser light was perfect inside the 20' x 20' room.I've heard that green lasers are easier to see which seems likely but this red one is completely usable indoors.The battery life is excellent so far. I used it several hours per day over a 3 day weekend without recharging it.The hole on the mounting hardware fits a standard camera tripod which makes it easy to aim into corners and elevate.

If I could give this more than 5 stars for value for money, I would. I was considering getting one of the more expensive ones, and I'm glad I didn't. For the price you absolutely cannot beat this. It seems pretty well-made and is definitely accurate. Goes for a decent amount of time on a single charge, and you can use it while it's charging. It's not immediately clear what all the buttons do, but if you play around with it for 5 minutes you will figure it out. The laser level lines are very bright, at least indoors. I have used it almost every day since I bought it and have had no problems.

I use this commercially, building removable floor to ceiling walls. It is comparable to the $500+ laser we regularly use. It's only a couple weeks old but, if this thing keeps performing the way it has, it will replace our current laser company wide. One highlight is the laser line is thinner than our current laser. This is a tremendous help when you have less than a 1/16th inch of tolerance. My only concern would be the battery. Our current laser uses 4 AA so no recharging...just dump and replace. So far the charge on this battery has more than impressed me and my coworkers. Hopefully, this keeps up.Update. Almost 2 years later and I am still using and abusing this laser. Our company bought the green laser version and it did not perform the same. Battery is still good. The laser has taken many tumbles to the ground. Still shoots plumb and level. If this one does stop, I will be back for another.

Decided that if brightness is a problem, then the fix is to work in the evening. Worked like a charm. Very "bright" light and the ease-of-use compared to my ancient rotary laser is fantastic. No more having to rotate the laser to follow the tape measure - got readings done in about a minute.Finally used the product today.The bad news is the product is essentially useless outdoors - which was my intended use. The objective was to confirm slope on drainage trenches and, the visibility outdoors was essentially "zero." Setup was in a shaded location but sun was on sections where I needed a read. I could get a visual on the laser to a tape measure at 6-7 feet - beyond that, the line was not visible. So much for 65 feet specification. I have no intention of getting an add-on that supposedly helps with distance as the my guess would be the range would extent to 10 feet. :) One other thing, I specifically bought the red laser because the consensus seemed to be it was more visible outside and the green laser sucks battery faster than the red. Bottom line - DO NOT BUY this product for outdoor use.The good news is the laser is extremely visible indoors. To the point where I find it hard to believe the difference in what is available indoors vs. outdoors. I may keep the product only for that reason - might look at a lesser-price version that does not include the "rotary" laser as I don't see a need.Unfortunately, I'm at a loss now to find a useful outside tool. Most products that say outdoors get bad reviews for outdoor use. Huepar even get rave reviews on an outdoor version BUT...at this point, I'm not sure I believe any of the so-called recommendations for outdoor-use products.

I'm glad I had to return a less-expensive unit because it arrived defective, and ordered this one instead. The unit seems solidly built and hefty. The 3 beams are plenty bright for any indoor use. I like the mount it comes with, which can be used on a tripod, screwed to a board, or just placed on a metal item with its magnets. Also included is the battery charger, and a red target that makes the beams easier to see in places like outdoors. This is going to come in very handy in my current construction project.

This laser will immediately improve the quality of your work if you are a builder. It feels well made, I would honestly prefer this to a bosch and it is less than half the price. It is well made and is extremely well designed in a thoughtful way. Also red is just fine, just go with the 3 plane, no need to go green especially if you are going to give up a feature or plane to make it fit your budget. You would be way better off with the 3 planes in red. Buy it and take yourself to the next level.

Works great! Just sad cause I finished my renovation project and can’t use it anymore. Currently it is being repurposed for my wife’s crafting adventures. She uses it on a small tripod and likes up lettering or designs on her projects.

Why can't any one tell the truth. You can only use it outside after dark. It has a range of 8 to 10 feet in the light.Just tell the truth. Indoors it works great, but I need it outdoors, sorry but but a negative 5 . Well send back. Just a waste of time

Well built and accurate! Good value when compared to the big brand names. It would be great if they offered a packaged price for this level with their optional receiver so you don't have to purchase them separately, but not a big issue.The only problem I've encountered is with the plastic cover for the USB charging port. Since the initial battery charge of this level, the cover no longer stays in place to seal the unit. Therefore, I can't endorse it as water/moisture resistant. This isn't a deal breaker for my needs, but may be for some.

A bit difficult to use. Instructions are not clear. But over all excellent product.

Very good product, robust, light and easy to use.
