Q: What is the best way to clean these?

I have had my nut bag for well over a month now and have made almond milk weekly using it. I squeeze the pulp in the bag as much as I can and then discard it in my compost pile. Then I shake the bag out to remove any remnants before hand washing it in my kitchen sink using a small amount of dish detergent. I swish it around until it is totally clean, rinse it and hang it outside to dry. I do not put it in the washing machine with other clothes. I am totally happy with this bag. It's very strong and works great.

Q: How hard do you have to squeeze the nuts to form the milk?

Using a blender, blend soaked nuts with water as fine as your blender allows. Pour the nut meal into the bag and squeeze the water out. Not very hard to milk nuts.
