１ＴＢでこの値段かと思う程、高くなりましたが、性能は確かです。 速度面ではまったく問題無しです。 長期使用時の問題については、検証が必要かと思います。

Macで使用するため購入しました。 写真類の保存が目的で、特に問題無く使えていたのですが2年経たずに読み書きが出来なくなりました。 正確に言えば10回に１回程度の割合で読み込み出来るが使っている際にフリーズして勝手に接続が切れる状態になってしまいました。 月に1〜2回程度の使用頻度でしたので酷使していた訳ではありません。 耐久性に難ありです。

少し値は張るが、小型かつ高性能で動作も安定している。もち運びにも便利。 ストレージ系は性能を偽ったり安全でない製品も散見されるので、こういった正規品を購入すべき。 持ち運ぶ予定がないデスクトップPCに接続して使うだけなら、ストレージBOX的な製品でもよいかもしれない。

購入して毎週使用してましたが、ある日いきなりドライブは認識するものの、ファイルにアクセス出来なくなりましまた。 サポートに連絡、使用環境、写真、ファームウェアのアップデート等など、サポートの指示に従って、かなり手間暇を掛けて対応してみましたが、問題解決せず。 最終的に、新品との交換になりました。 5年保障のありがたさを実感しつつも、中に貯めていたデータは諦めることになりました。 用心のため、別のSDDにバックアップデータがありましたので助かりました。 併せて、バックアップの大切さも改めて実感しました。 こんな目に遭うと、同じメーカー品を再購入するか悩むところです。 以上、ご参考まで。

Good quality product, rubber cover is also a nice addition. But the size of this thing is just incredible. Never would have thought a SSD could be packed into such a small thing. Very portable.

This 4tb ssd was priced competitively and i already had a 2tb ssd from the same brand. Since I needed more capacity I thought this should be a safe purchase. Other reviews here suggest that quality control may be an issue as some of these drives have failed prematurely. This seems to be an issue with many other brands as well regardless of price. The Kingston drives seem to fare a bit better than most so i don't expect any issues. Out of the box experience has been excellent. The size of the drive will measure less than 4tb on a PC due to the way manufacturers measure their drives. i reformatted the drive to NTFS with no issues.
