design with practical health benefits, making healthier eating both effortless and enjoyable
This isn't just another rice cooker; it's designed to deliver lower-sugar rice, and after putting it through its paces, I'm genuinely impressed with how it integrates into a health-conscious lifestyle without sacrificing flavor or convenience. The aesthetics alone are a win. The slate blue color and the transparent glass body give it a very sleek, modern look that actually enhances my kitchen counter. It’s a definite upgrade from the bulky, opaque rice cookers I’ve used in the past, and being able to watch the cooking process through the glass is strangely satisfying. But the real magic lies in its "low carb" function. This cooker employs an auto-lift filter basket that effectively separates the rice from the starchy water during cooking. I was a bit skeptical at first – could it really make a difference while still producing good rice? The answer is a resounding yes. The rice comes out perfectly fluffy and delicious, but with the peace of mind that a significant portion of the excess starch has been removed. It's a game-changer for those of us who love rice but are trying to manage our sugar intake. Beyond the low-carb feature, this is a truly versatile appliance. The digital panel is intuitive and easy to navigate, offering options for regular rice, grains, and even oats. I particularly appreciate the Hotpot & Steamer functions; being able to cook multiple components of a meal in one device is a huge time-saver. And of course, the Keep Warm function is a lifesaver for busy evenings, ensuring dinner is ready whenever we are.

Makes great rice
This rice cooker makes great rice and is so easy to use. I like how it does everything in one pot and I don’t even need to measure anything if I don’t want to. My first time using it (I’ll include some pics), I used 2 cups of dry rice. I put the rice in the strainer basket and rinsed it right in there. I placed the basket in pot and filled with water to 2cm over the surface of the rice, as instructed. From there I turn it on and the cooker does the rest. The rice boils directly in the water until it is soft and the basket is precisely timed to raise, draining off the starchy water and then steams it a bit to fluff. The rice texture was perfect, soft and fluffy. My kids ate it and that is saying a lot because they are super picky about texture. Cleanup is simple with 2 parts to wash: the smooth glass pot and the basket. Easier to clean than a pot on the stove because rice doesn’t get crusted on. I think it makes great rice, and I feel good knowing that I’m making my rice in the healthiest way possible, trimming a few extra calories. Makes enough rice for my family of 4.

Not for diabetics. BS still goes up
You cannot use this with brown rice. It takes more than just steaming for brown rice to make it fluffy. This is for only white rice. I use blood glucose monitor to keep an eye with my blood sugar, my BS went up to 180 instead of to 250 or more when I use a regular rice cooker. But I use Basmati rice which is already a better option compared to regular white rice that has lots of starch. This is only for once in a while to use. If you’re diabetic this is not the answer for eating rice everyday.*** If you use this for as a regular rice cooker, please don’t. Your rice can be better using a regular rice cooker.*** With white Basmati rice, the ratio is: I use 2 cups rice and 3 cups water. Need to wash the rice until it is clear to get rid of the starch. To make the rice fluffy- this is the ratio that works for me. Use the cup that comes in the package.

Functional and Attractive
We cook a lot of rice, oats and other grains like quinoa and enjoy mixing it up and cooking them in coconut milk and vegetable broths occasionally. This cooker is versatile and takes care of all of that with ease and it is easy to clean afterwards.I resist most kitchen gadgets as so many just gather dust on the counter and I do not like counter clutter...but this one works well and is a pretty color that complements the color of our walls.Recommended

Ordered Twice but neither worked
Great idea but get a different brand that works. 1 didn’t heat. 2nd basket didn’t go up/down as it should so rice boiled then burned OR steamed forever then stayed uncooked hard.

Not a 8 cup rice cooker!
This is not a 8 cup rice cooker. Here are my pictures with only 1 cup. At the most could be 2. Rice comes out of the rice tray during cooking. Seeing a lot of it come out and become pulp in continuously boiling water. If you need a smaller ine perhaps 2 cups, this may be the way to go. Unsure yet but the handle plastic is pretty fragile and not good quality. Could break anytime and I’d highly recommend some warranty coverage. Will re-review in a few days
