This mat makes working in the kitchen more comfortable and enjoyable, by putting less stress on the back, knees and feet. It fits the area between my stovetop and sink perfectly. It seems to make the kitchen a bit quieter, perhaps by absorbing sound. It is fairly attractive, but I would have willingly paid more for a more decorative-looking mat. The quality is excellent, though. It offers a good amount of cushioning, stays in place, and is lightweight enough to move easily when you want to sweep or mop the floor. I wasn’t sure how people would react to this somewhat industrial-looking black mat in my beautiful kitchen, but my relatives all admired it during a recent dinner at our home. One commented: What a great idea! Wish I had room for one in my kitchen!

Mats are comfortable to stand/walk on, however they are thicker than I expected. After a week or two of using them, the edges are still curled (they are shipped rolled up), causing my employees and I to keep tripping on them. I hope that in another week or two, they will flatten out completely. And another thing, you cant put something heavy on the end to keep the curled up edge flat because the bottom of the mat doesnt have any grippy surface. This is an important thing to know because when the mat gets foot traffic it moves a few inches here and there and if you pin on end down with something heavy it will curl in the opposite direction like an upside down "U".

This product is comfortable to stand on, however the top layer is peeling off like crazy, leaving black pieces/chunks getting tracked all over. Not even 1 year old and have to throw all 4 of them out! What a waste of money. I contacted the manufacturer directly and all they told me to do is contact Amazon. WOW!! What's Amazon going to do about this? Nothing! I can't believe this! But that's the way things are now a days. You would think the manufacturer would like to know about this problem and maybe try to resolve an issue for it's own customer. But I am only a number. I will never buy or recommend this product.

These mats are awesome. My three mats are laying flat-two in the garage that have been there for 2 years and holding up very well,and one in the kitchen. They are well made,have good edges, have an excellent amount of give-not too squishy but substantial. They are a little over a half-inch tall.Perfect. Highly recommended.

I bought this mat to place under a weight bench and it's great. Other mats marketed specifically for fitness equipment tend to be way too thin. This mat is nice and thick. You can't beat the price, either. My only issue is that it is pretty light weight and completely smooth on the bottom, so it tends to move easily. So, now I'm looking for something to put under it to give it some grip without ruining the floor underneath.

Purchased this mat for a busy kitchen for a community service organization. Lightweight, yet extremely durable. There is/was a difference of opinions among members, however - some of the older members felt that the beveled/raised edges caused them problems (tripping), which they might "adjust" to, over time. I didn't have that problem, and welcomed the cushioning when working on the serving line.

This item was not made out of anti-fatigue material. It’s really squishy and hard to balance on and I’m five days past the return window, and I just can’t seem to roll it back up and fit it into the box to return because it’s so bulky and squishy.
