Vineyard Vines Mens Saltwater Pullover Sweater

I ordered two of this sweater in different colors. The fabric is a little heavier than I expected and so the sweaters will be warm, good for cooler temps (40-60 degrees), not something you wear as temps approach 70 degrees. I am 6’2” and 210 lb and trying to stay in shape, although I would prefer to be lighter. I wanted to avoid having the sweaters look baggy on me, so I went with the LARGE according to the sizing chart, my chest and waist.. They fit perfectly and look good as i had hoped, although there is no room for me to gain weight. I could easily have taken an XL but I am sure I would not like the over-sized look of a loose sweater, when I want to stay fit.

Quarter-zips have become the go-to uniform for so many occasions for men and there's no shortage of options out there. I have found the Vineyard Vines Saltwater to be a great choice. What I appreciate is the soft fabric and texture. Word of note - be sure you get this version that is a cotton/polyester blend, the reason is that in the past I have had the 100% cotton version and the sleeves had a tendency to shrink (even when air-dried flat), this is not a problem with the blended version. Usually, I am a stickler for 100% cotton in shirts like this but I make a necessary exception for Vineyard Vines. In terms of fit, I am 6'2" and 175lbs, tall and lean; I typically wear a size large slim-fit shirt and a 40L suit. I find that the size chart is correct and a medium in this shirt fits me perfectly. Its not baggy or overly snug, it has a complimentary fit. So think of this is your cooler season polo, the shirt that works in a surprising variety of occasions. I like it enough to have more than one.

I bought this for a Birthday gift for my husband. It’s nice material and fit and looks nice on him. This fabric is more on the lighter weight side. It is not thick and heavy material. But overall, I would purchase again.

I've had this 1/4 zip for several years now, and even all this time later, it continues to hold up and still looks great. The fabric is of great quality, and I love the tailored-style fit of the sweater. I got this sweater on a deal for $80 a few years ago, and I consider it be a good value, and I believe it has held its value for the most part. If you're looking for a 1/4 zip sweater that is comfortable and will look good on a variety of occasions, I would recommend.

Great looking shirt and material is comfortable. Not too heavy for those who run hot. I find it slightly on large size but makes it comfortable. Bought size large am 6ft2 200 lbs for reference. Would recommend !
