If you are having IDLE issues on a Chevy TBI 5.7L OBD1 first check for codes if no codes, check for vacuum leaks if none go straight to the IAC valve it shows wear, replace it and the TPS with original parts like AC DELCO Apparently to me those two parts last about the same amount of time, so changing both will save you time in the long run. My 94 Blazer K1500 has 266660 miles on it never rebuilt and I have changed the two parts earlier at 180000. It was time. Hope this helps someone..

Do it right the first time and only use genuine acdelco parts made in mexico. My truck shifts smoother even with 205k miles with at least 150 hp to one of the rear wheels. Stupid easy to R2 on my stock 210hp in 1995 k1500 5.7L of doom. Recommend blue loctite and go easy with tps plug clip mine broke from age. Semper fi carry on.

I have been chasing a idle problem for months. Ended up a cheap TPS was fluctuating couldn't catch it. This ac TPS was locked solid iwhere it set it. Cured a major headache.
