Is the coating hard wearing?

Our Cookware is made with aluminum and has a stainless steel base & handles. The interior is made with a non-stick coating free of lead, cadmium, PTFE (Teflon®), PFOA, and other harmful chemicals and is not hard anodized!

Does the skillet handle get too hot to hold bare handed?

Yes, if you are using higher heat the handle will get warm enough to require the use of a hot pad to touch it.

Since high heat isnt called for with ceramic, how long does it take for water to boil in the 3 qt. Saucepan?

Boiling should be a breeze on medium temperature! If you're having issues, consider adding the lid to trap the heat and speed up the process.
