Great product
This product is amazing. Follow the instructions and you will have success. Especially when you have a lot of build up you may have to repeat the pricess

It helps, but it isn't a wonder product.
When I received the bottle, it was wrapped in a bag containing much of the liquid that should have been in the bottle. Not so great. Spraying it on some tiles helped remove some of the scale. It isn't perfect, and it took multiple applications to get half-decent results. If your scale isn't so bad, hit it right away; I may have waited too long.

Best Product I've Found
I don't have a pool or spa, but I live in an area with very high mineral content in our well water. The calcium forms rock-hard deposits that clog our toilet, shower head, sink fixtures, and fish-pond heater. Nothing works as well as this product for removing that build-up, and I've tried many others. I spray this on and the calcium deposits dissolve into a paste that can simply be rinsed away. For thick deposits, I might have to use it a couple of times in succession, but it reliably removes every last bit of build-up with very little efforet on my part. I really appreciate that it's eco-friendly, as I'm careful never to use toxic items in our home. I can't speak to any other uses, but for our purposes, it does exactly what we need it to do. Very satisfied.

Use on glazed tile. Don’t waste your time or money using it on porous stone or rock.
To be fair, I do not have glazed tile on my pool. I have some type of stone at the water line. The calcium, or whatever the buildup is didn’t come off with the descaler. It worked to some extent, but after three applications a lot was still visible. It may work great on glazed tile, but like the directions say... it’s not made for stone. Using it didn’t cause any damage to anything, it just didn’t work well.

Ruined my shower
This stuff ruined my shower. I have well water and a stone tile shower and I sprayed this product on it and rinsed it off when it dried it was awful. I could not believe my eyes. It turned my shower walls and floor white and I can’t clean it off. I don’t know what to do

Softens serious water calcification
We'd previously had our pool tile cleaned by a service. It looked great when first done, but the scale started building up. I noticed that some of it would just flake off and that started me thinking I could clear some of it as an interim cleaning.I'm now finished. After using this stuff and a combination of things to scrape with (glazed tile), it looks almost as good as after the service. For 12 hours of work (17k gal pool), I'll hope it will last several years before professional clean again.I sprayed this stuff on before working it manually, and it definetly made it easier to scrap off!

Wear a mask when applying
Worked well on our scale on the pool. Sometimes has to apply several times to breakdown the layers. There are fumes so be careful.We've tried several products & this has been the best so far.

Effective for pool tile calcium buildup
I have a 25 year old pool with lots of scale/calcium buildup on the coping tiles so I wasn’t expecting too much but this stuff really works. Spray it on, let it sit for 20 or 30 minutes & then scrub it off with a stiff brush. Tiles not like new but a big difference in appearance after using it unlike with other products I’ve tried which removed little or none of the calcium scale build-up. Definitely recommend.
