Useful and humorous!
Funny anecdotes, easy to identify with, not to be taken as exhaustive instructions, just tips. Enjoyable read and quite refreshing

Its very thin...no worthy such money at all and the content is weak

Very good
Excellent read, quick and easy book that reminds us about getting the basics right, although not convinced on every single point. For example not sleeping next to your newborn seems crazy to me. Everyone is different though and this book is brilliant if you apply your own values to it.

Terrible advice
Personally I found this book a waste of money, and the advice isn’t great. For example, suggesting a newborn should not sleep in the same room as you… You’re better off talking to your health visitor for actually evidence based advice.

Ridiculous advice -parenting is not about convenience
This book has awful advice. Sleep training at 4 months and crying out for hours, is the harshest form for babies. This book puts the convenience of the parent foremost which is ridiculous- never have I deeply regretted £7 9on any item.

Left me confused
As a mum that stuck to routine from day one, I found this handbook to be a little over the top. I found it a little confusing, and the advice on it would probably work for upper classes. It's a bit snobbish and suggests things that most mums would find very difficult to do, such as regular babysitters that you are supposed to pay for even after stopping work to raise your own child. Some ideas just didn't work for me.Not a handbook I will be using

One of my least favourite of all the baby books
The woman writes like a b**** which is both refreshing and empowering if you want to do things a different way. It's a quick enformative and provoking read.
