I bought this explorer kit for my grandson who is 4.The set is complete with everything you need to explore the woods. His favorite item was the whistle. The binoculars allow you to see from a distance. The only fault I found in this explorer kit is the cheap plastic it is made of.

Purchased 3 of these kits for three 6 and under grandson's. They opened the package, got real excited, and started exploring around the house. Once outside temperatures were a bit warmer, their dad took them to a park with a stream running through it, they went nuts running all over using the different items in the kit. Girls and boys will find hours of entertainment in this kit if they have an adventuresome spirit.

I sent it to my Grand kids - ages 2 1/2 to 10 years, 2 boys and 2 girls. We did a face to face via video so I could watch them open the gift. Each one of the kids loved the gift, tried all the wonderful items and so their parents! It was one of the best received gifts I've sent them! Quality of items is excellent.

I got this for my 5 year-old as motivation to hike slightly longer trails. Our compromise is that we’d stop every mile or so to “explore”. For an inexpensive kid’s kit, the quality of the tools are quite good (with the exception of the binoculars). Here’s to happy trails ahead.

Gave this as a gift but was happy with the quality of the product. My daughter wanted to get a few of the pieces in this (she had another brands similar product) and thought there bug pieces were adorable. This is packed nicely, I returned another brands that wasn't. A great product got around the house as well as outdoors and makes walks in the woods with kids much more fun.

Our two granddaughters loved their packs in our recent trip to the forests. It gave them so much interest in examining bugs and considering the trail (with their compass). It is a toy, so don't expect too much quality. But highly recommend for kids 3-6 to get them excited for adventures in the outdoors.

Very cute product. The magnifying glass isn’t the best but works enough to make it fun. The flash light has not batteries which I was expecting but there are also no bulbs which kind of sucks. The kids I nanny love them though and they’re good for an introduction to nature exploring even if they aren’t the highest quality.
