DeSantis Gunhide Facilitator Holster For Glock 19 Right Hand Black

Great holster fro my Glock, I was trying to find another one for my SigP365 from the same company but so far i could not find the same model. I love the finger release to remove the pistol, very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Of all my holsters, this is the one I want on my belt should I ever have a need for it. Good retention from drops, holds the gun still on the belt, and draws fast.For me, a thin and bony person, this holster works great behind the 3:30 o'clock position. Anywhere in front of that and the retention lever's guard (which prevents your body from accidentally engaging it) digs into my hip painfully. The corner of the magazine is often scratching my back in this holster - I either ignore it or use an undershirt which gets rid of the issue (this is dependent on the shape of your body and how low or high you wear your belt).I would not carry this holster unconcealed - in my opinion, the thumb release is in such a place that it is too easy for a 3rd party to disengage, even if they don't know it's there. I had a friend put this on and I pulled the gun out from several angles - including standing face to face and reaching across and disengaging the lever with my pinky as I gripped the gun to pull it out. The retention was completely ineffective. Had the same result with him drawing it off my belt, and he did not have prior knowledge of the retention lever. The lever was depressed just by his getting a full natural grip on the handle. I did not deduct any stars for this because, again, of all my holsters this is the one I want my gun in should I need it close and fast.Another holster from Desantis (same manufacturer as this one) is what I use when I want owb but with more concealment - the Desantis mini scabbard. In situations where that extra 1/2 inch of width doesn't matter, this is what I use.The quality of the leather feels great so far, and has conformed to the shape of my body where I wear the holster.Lastly, this holster is difficult to get onto my Uncle Mike's cheap nylon gun belt. On the other hand, it doesn't move at all once it gets on there.

Using this sight for my Shadow Systems MR920 equipped with a Swamp Fox Kingslyer sight. I had to trim some of the leather from holster so that it would not turn on sight while in holster.

I did a lot of research on holsters for my Glock 19. I settled on the Facilitator and am very pleased with the outcome. I like the security of the inside thumb release as opposed to other secure release applications on the market. After a couple of practice draws it felt very natural, and as I mentioned in the title, it assures a good seated grip upon unholstering. Good quality craftsmanship and durability are on the upside with this holster as well.

I purchased this holster and I like it overall, but it does have a minor issue, when I insert my Glock 19, it kind of 'shakes' inside the holster and you can hear it hitting against the plastic sides. It does take a little getting used to the push down the clip to remove weapon, but once that is accomplished, then its good to go. At least now I feel safe knowing that if I were to be involved in an incident, that my weapon will not fall out. I will recommend that before you purchase this holster or any holster online, to 1st visit a gun shop and "try" out the holster you interested in to make sure it's what you like.

Holster was used to replace a leather holster which no longer was in serviceable condition and the fit is the same as a regular pancake with the added safety of the trigger guard locking mechanism. Only issues are the firearm sometimes does not lock in and registering is necessary, second firearm seem lose as it rocks back and fourth within the holster but increasing the tension screw pressure has reduced this effect

Absolutely terrible design.There is a locking mechanism on the inside of this holster that must be pressed by the thumb before the firearm will draw. Which is absolutely fine except for the fact that the paddle is very very low - next to the trigger guard. So instead of having a full firing grip on the pistol as you draw, your thumb ends up very far down the grip and requires a re-grip before bringing your offhand in to grip. If you don't readjust your thumb after hitting the lock mechanism your offhand thumb ends up overlapping your dominant hand thumb and you basically end up with a revolver style grip on the pistol. (By the way, Amazon doesn't have a picture of the inside of this holster. I encourage you to look at it on Desantis's website before purchasing)The mid-size glocks (19, 23, etc.) rattle around in this holster too. I can't speak for the larger models.The only reason it doesn't get 1 star is because it's very well-built. High quality leather, rounded edges, good fit and finish all around.

Purchased for on duty carry. Holds weapon securely and thumb release is an easy transition from other security holsters. Rides close to the body and sits at right height above belt for fast instinctual draw in an emergency. Soft audible "click" when gun is re-holstered lets you know weapon secure. Three belt slots allow allow for canted or straight drop carry. Thick plastic design should be durable in a working environment. Overall, excellent holster for on duty plain clothes or off duty/concealed carry.

Sehr gutes Hoster gut verarbeitet würde ich jeder Zeit wieder kaufen.Ich mußte sogar noch eins für meinen Jagdfreund bestellen.
