Simichrome 390050 All Metal Polish Tube - 1.76 oz.

Works great!! I used it on an old brass necklace that I’d had for years but could never remove the tarnish. Tried this an instantly it came clean and shiny! Used it on old tarnished sterling pieces and cleaned all them up too. You don’t need much, just a drop on a soft cloth, like the instructions say.

Used as instructed Simicheome is a great product. I use it often to clean and shine items I get at auctions and thrift shops. While not recommended I put a dab on a watch crystal and after some vigorous rubbing it did take out some light scratches

This stuff is great and shined up my vintage brass lamps nicely. I bought 3 different top brands as recommended on Reddit. This one came in second next to Flitz which is more expensive. I think it’s much easier to remove than brasso but it is a small tube. No odor. There is nothing fast about shining brass. It still took me 2-3 rounds of removing the layers of tarnish after neglecting them for over 4-5 years.

Simichrome is a good metal polish but it's not the best I've used and the best is no longer widely available and so has become prohibitively expensive if you can find it. Like all metal polishes, Simichrome is a bit stinky and while effective, you have to use more than the sparingly small amount recommended to cut through the surface and get a nice finish. I use it on my kitchen sink and it shines it up with a bit of elbow grease added. For the price and the size of the tube, it's a good buy.

Best bare metal polish. Difficult to find locally. Tried a couple of other brands, Flitz, Blue Magic, Simichrome gave the best results. Used on bare aluminum window trim of a used car that had some rather stubborn deposits. Looked almost new when I finished.
