A great replacement
This button was a great replacement for the worn out button in my BMW X5. It looks just like the previous button. Easy install. I ordered a red button as well because I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. Nevertheless, if I want to put in the red button, easy switch. I’m very happy because BMW service wanted to charge $400 to replace the button because they do not just sell the button. They sell some ridiculous piece that has to be replaced. No thanks, I just needed the button. My service adviser said order one from Amazon. So glad I did, it looks great. I’m very pleased.

Perfect Replacement
Excellent part. Perfect replacement for the stock BMW start button. Pretty easy to install. Recommend using blue or green masking tape to prevent marring of the surface. Then gently use a very small thin flat head screw driver or pick to pry the old button off. Simple clip new button on. Done.
