AllaQuix Stop Bleeding Gauze is a drug-free, FDA purified wound dressing that uses advanced Chitosan technology to quickly control bleeding from cuts, cuts, abrasions and nosebleeds. Chitosan has many beneficial properties in medicine, including rapid control of bleeding (hemostasis) and antimicrobial activity. Chitosan has been proven to stimulate wound healing. The Chitosan fibres in AllaQuix are processed with a proprietary and patent protected technology. The advanced surface-treated fiber barrier effectively controls bleeding regardless of the body's clotting mechanism. The fibers are designed to aggregate platelets along the fiber to accelerate clotting even when anticoagulation therapies (also known as blood thinners) are used.
