Does the job
This worked for my generic Apple CarPlay/Android Auto aftermarket head unit front dashcam (this camera is integrated on the head unit). After applying the filter the colors look way better and not washed out. The clarity has also improved - I could legibly read some license plates after reviewing SD card video footage. The visuals look about 25% clearer with the filter. Easy to apply and does the job.

Polarizer fragile and not effective
This thing came cracked in the corner so I had to get a replacement. After installing the replacement and looking at the video recorded, the polarizing function does not seem to work as there is still alot of glares. Compare this to the polarizer that came with the front camera lens, which does work well. I'm not sure if it is worth it to buy this at all. Now that it's glued on, I can't take it off to return it.

Helps with reflection
First one was cracked but I was sent a replacement. They are pretty fragile so have to be careful when installing. Didn't help that I did not buy it till after the rear camera was installed. Unlike the front you have to unstick it so I had to rotate camera and install. Save your self some trouble and install filter before mounting camera.

Filters annoying reflections
Installs easily with preinstalled tape. Just stick it on, and it works. Tested in bright sun from all angles. This is a must have for your rear camera.
