Smaller than I anticipated but still a useful product

I’ve been using the multi angle measuring ruler for a bit now, and wow it turned into one of those tools I keep grabbing without even thinking about it. I picked it up for some small woodworking projects, but it ended up helping on way more stuff than I planned. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out the box was how solid it feels. The aluminum alloy has a nice weight to it, not too heavy but definitely sturdy enough that it doesn’t bend or twist when you press it against the wood. The edges are clean and smooth, no rough spots or weird machining marks. It just feels like a tool that’s gonna last a long time. The 45 and 90 degree angles are super accurate. I used it to mark out some cuts on a set of shelves I was building, and everything lined up perfect. No gaps, no weird angles, no “why is this board leaning like that” moments. The ruler sits flat against the wood and doesn’t rock or slide around, which makes marking way easier. The 3D design is actually way more useful than I thought. Being able to measure depth, height, and angle all with the same tool saves a ton of time. I used it to mark dowel holes, check the thickness of some boards, and even line up a hinge placement. It’s like having three tools in one, but without the bulk. The numbers are easy to read too. Some rulers have tiny markings that make you squint, but this one has clear engravings that don’t fade or rub off. I used it outside in bright sun and inside in my dim garage and could still read everything fine.

handy little square, certainly makes it easier to mark around a board, pretty accurate measurements and pretty close to dead square, close enough for most average work, for the price im pleased with it.

The description did give the size but I was still surprised it was so small. It is nice and sturdy and will work fine on smaller jobs

The first one came with significant damage, making marking on one side inaccurate and a little hazardous, slivers of metal, etc. Waiting on the second, so we'll see, but I may send both back, depending. I bought it mostly for the ability to transfer squared lines around the corners of wood pieces, but the slight bevels at the edges of the pieces (which are screwed together) make it so that the mark dips a little toward the edge of the wood, just prior to the corner transition. This may not be critical, but it throws the eye off. Gonna wait and see, but so far, not really impressed, mostly due to QC, but also perhaps due to design. I upgraded to three stars, because of one thing: fast replacement. Unfortunately, the second was still scratched on the anodization, though not truly "marred" like the first one. The replacement arrived the very next day, and for the price, it's fine, but the anodization is exceedingly thin, and I have very little to praise on an item that arrives scratched, when new. It's a 3/5 because I think it will do the job, and the replacement was quick. But the QC is not good on fit and finish.

I bought this angle ruler hoping it would allow me to accurately draw continuous lines around the corners of wood pieces. You need to pay attention when assembling the ruler to ensure the edges align around a corner ruler. After doing so the ruler proved very useful for woodworking.
