Golden nuggets of Czech-specific real estate tips. Must read for any new investor thinking about Czech real estate
This is a quick read and the info is presented in an organized way. For first time property buyers and new landlords considering Czech property, this is a MUST READ. However, experienced landlords will find that this contains very basic info that applies everywhere and will find much of this book too elementary. Even so, there are a handful of golden nuggets in this book that deal specifically with the Czech market that you would definitely never consider even if you have 100 other rental properties outside of Czech Republic. So for that reason, unless you already have experience in Czech real estate it is definitely worth reading this book. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars simply because I think there could be a little more detail for the Czech market and a little less about general real estate. The Czech market is VERY different than other countries, and some practices there defy logic and common sense. Reading this book could potentially save you thousands or even hundreds of thousands by giving you the insight to avoid costly mistakes.

Pioneering work for expats/foreigners looking to buy in Prague
Living in Prague for 7 years and looking to buy property I found it hard to gather the bits and pieces of information one needs to be aware of until I found Nathan's book.It offers comprehensive information about the process more from the investor's perspective but nevertheless a useful resource for people interested in not paying rent anymore which can also be seen as an investment after all.I wish it went a bit more in depth in some chapters, for example a more detailed view of what's the purchasing process when getting a mortgage like or more insight on buying in Prague. However, I've contacted the office for more specific information and both Nathan and his colleagues have been very helpful with prompt replies. The book also offers links to valuable resources such as a useful excel sheet for calculating expected turnover on the property.I'd say the information in the book is vital for getting one's head around what it takes to own property in the Czech Republic, especially if you're not in good command of the Czech language.

A great reference and very helpful
I read this book over the weekend. It's extremely helpful and and it explains the most important facts you'll need to know about buying property in Czech. The chapters move along quickly and are fun to read. They even have real-life stories to learn from.I've lived in Czech for over a decade and wish this book had been available when I moved here!I appreciate that this book is understandable to the layman looking to purchase or rent and to the experienced investor who already has many properties. The book could serve as a general property investment guide even to those not in Czech. It is a good reference, an excellent value, and a real schooling on property acquisition in the Czech Republic.

It`s informative and easy to read
The book would be helpful for those interested in buying investment property in Czech Republic. It`s informative and easy to read. This book contains some tips for potential buyers, that would only a local real estate agent give you. I red it in two or three days, and contacted Nathan for more info on the specific area I`m interested in. He was very quick to respond and gave me thorough and detailed explanation. Very client-oriented and professional approach!

Czech Point: Book Review
Nathan's book is easy to read and understand. It explains, in a simple format what to watch out for in the Czech Republic, preferred locations, rents, contracts and everything that comes along with renting/investing in property. Most importantly however, and beyond a well written book, Nathan and Khuppi in the Prague Checkpoint office were willing to spend time with me and thouroughly review everything involved in relocating to Prague and purchasing investment property. They can be trusted and I would recommend the book as well as www.czechpoint101.cz to anyone.

Very useful guide
I was looking for a property in the Czech Republic and happened to stumble on this title.I found the book to be concise, to the point and full of practical and helpful advice. After reading it, I actually got in touch with Mr. Brown, who works as a realtor in the Czech Republicand ended up commissioning him with finding the right property and securing financing!

Very much the book I needed.
Literally that. I am in the process of purchasing property in the Czech republic and this book was extremely helpful in giving me all the information I needed to achieve that, along with avoiding (or trying to avoid) being ripped-off. Nathan writes with some considerable experience and one feels that he's giving away rather too many trade secrets, considering his day job is as owner of a company providing property services in the Czech republic!

An essential guide
I've been investing in the Czech property market for nearly 10 years and this is a book I wish I had when I first started out. It contains a good guide to the market, including all those oddities that a UK investor would just not think of. Well written and an easy read
