Good little tactical light. You have to work to turn on the white light so you have less of a chance of ND’ing when you meant to turn on the red light. Lightweight. Fits nice in a chest rig. Pretty decent comfort.

This turns on to red light first, which is very helpful in some situations. You never accidentally turn on your white light, so you can practice noise and light discipline.

First off, it’s well built, very light, small and compact. It dose rotate up and down. The button is right on top, very low profile and dose not make noise when you click it. It uses 2 AAA batteries. 1 click turns the low red light on, 2 clicks turns the brightness up on the red light. For the white light you have to hold the button down for 3 seconds and to turn the brightness up on the white light you have to click the button again as soon as you turn the white light on. This safety measure is mainly there for “military” use so you aren’t shining a bright white light around out in the field as soon as you turn the headlamp on. Plus the red light helps preserve your night vision a little better. Great product.

Small, light, bright enough for close quarters work, combination of red & white lights is nice, casing seems durable and water tight. AAA batteries last well though I do find myself recharging batteries every few hours of use to keep brightness high - power button is a little tricky to use with gloves on even with my thinnest tactical gloves, so something to get used to though WAY better than certain other products of this kind - I love the price and so just ordered another one so I have a back unit...

Just wanted to make a review because I love this light. I’ve had a p tec bite for about 15 years. I recently forgot to remove the batteries after my outing and they blew up. Ruining the light. So I ordered a new one. This unit is small and lightweight and I love that. It’s why I keep it around. If I need more light I have a massive remote pack unit. The thing I wasn’t expecting was the on button modes. A single press will turn on red light, another press, next brightness level red, another press, off. And then repeat in the red mode. You only get to white with a press and hold. This is fantastic. I love it. My old one was not this way and I always wished I had something that acted like this. It’s the perfect light in my opinion. As long as your looking for an easy late night camp light. Not illuminating the whole trail. Also the white light has two levels of brightness as well and whenever you leave either color on for more than about 3-5 seconds the next press will turn it off and the next press after that will be red again. So if your not down with the white light hippy mace to the eyes of your friends get this light!

Seems pretty durable. It's a less fragile type of plastic than other head lights I've used. The switch is a little klunky but usable. Too soon to comment on the strap yet. The others I've used like to get kinda stretched out pretty quickly. We'll see about this one. I'll try to update this at a later date.

I bought this for my backyard astonomy. Works great. Would recommend it highly.

Perfect size to throw in a pocket, very durable, I like that I have to hold down my power button to enter white light mode just helps with light discipline and such, I’ve had it for about a month and a half used it most nights in freezing or below freezing temps and the battery hasn’t died.

Love how the light goes right to red vs white light, as a active service member right light at night is a must and the light does just that. For the price one can't go wrong plus I like that it's made in the USA even if it's with foreign and domestic parts.

Let water in from light rain. Also the button doesnt work to turn light on/ off everytime
