Twenty years later, after Jack's sudden death, his daughters each inherit half of heavily mortgaged Drover's Run. Tess, who recently lost her mother to breast cancer, returns to Drover's in the hopes of cashing out and opening a cafe in the city, but is disappointed to be met with a less-than-rosy financial picture and the open resentment of her older sister. After Claire fires the male workforce, the sisters, with the help of housekeeper Meg Fountain, her daughter Jodi, and local girl Becky, decide to run the property themselves. The tentative -- and presumably temporary -- partnership is the first step in the reunited sisters' effort to heal old wounds... In season 5 we found out that Jodi Fountain's biological dad was Jack McLeod and that she is the result of Jack's affair with Jodi's mum Meg, which makes her the half-sister of Claire and Tess McLeod. From season four onwards, more McLeod women joined who were cousins of Claire, Tess and Jodi McLeod. Entertaining and great strong women series
I LOVE this series! I had seen it before. I took a Mcleod's Daughters tour while we were in Australia and saw various places in the Barossa Valley where it was filmed. The tour guide mentioned so many things I had forgotten that I asked my husband to buy it for me for Christmas. We were told we would need a special DVD player for it since it was filmed in Australia, but it seems to work fine on our regular home entertainment unit. It is really entertaining. When I first watched it, my husband got hooked on it and would stop what he was doing to come watch it with me.

They came in great condition and are playing good so far
I got my DVDs today in the mail and it came with the movie that started it all. I watched the movie which I had never seen and now watching Season One of the series. They came in great condition and are playing good so far. The DVD series is for Region 2, but I just bought a Region Free player from Amazon so I can play them on it or on my new Blu-Ray player (that I didn't realize would play them). This TV series is one of my favorite series that I found on Netflix a couple of years ago. Heartland is my other favorite TV series. If you haven't seen this series, I highly recommend it.

One of the best series to come along
I bought an all region DVD player just to watch these! We watched the series on Netflix while they still had it, and now I want to watch them again! this was the greatest series to come along in a LONG TIME! how I miss good shows like this! I wish it could have gone on and on. Thank you to all the Australian actors and actresses who made this series so wonderful! and it is so well written too!

A MUST-SEE for any girl or woman!
A realistic view of life on a ranch - down to no make-up and dirty fingernails! Writing is great, actors excellent. Highly recommend for the cowgirl in you!

Do you speak Croatian?
All the discs are there, The undertiteling of the episodes is limited to a couple of eastern european countries but as we understand the american/australian/english adequately it is not a big problem. The qualitiy of the item is very good.

Very Good sofar
I have seen just five of the dvds in the two boxes and they are great. Only the audio is a bit too low so I have to use speakers. Apaet from that they are wonderful. I hope that the other dvds are OK as the ones I have already seen. Each dvd doesnt have a box but are put in a plastic bag. I like them anyway.

Fantastic set
I absolutely love this series,used to watch this when my children were young, been waiting to get this for many years. Finally gave in and brought them. Well worth buying and the price was great because originally priced at about £90 pounds. So it was a steel at £59.00 so I was over the moon.fantastic series.

A very good DVD set to suit all of the family
I had not heard of this series before until I spotted it on Amazon. Expensive but well worth the money given the hours of viewing. A family story based on a cattle and sheep ranch in Southern Australia. Romance, comedy and some sadness. Certainly recommend for those who enjoy family sagas and Australia.

The best series finally purcahsed
This is possibly one of the best series we have ever seen on cable and really wanted to see it all. This box set achieves that and the quality is outstanding. All episodes are in English and we have been glued to it since delivery. Offers phenomenal value give the number of episodes.

Very well packed
Arrived very quickly,packed well. Only watched the 'in the beginning and the first DVDs episode' watched all the TVs series so was interested to know what happened in the beginning. Was a bit confused as story didn't seem to make sense. Need to watch again to see if I have missed something. 59 DVDs to watch over time. Very good series.
