A very flexible two-way radio
These are good quality two-way radios. The look and feel is more like much more expensive radios. Being programmable, they are flexible for any type of usage. They work on simplex or can work though repeaters. The Groups feature is great if you deploy many radios to various teams in the field. The LI batteries provide long reliable usage. The earpiece (comes with the radio) or an optional speaker mike help to cut down on background noise. And the price is very good for what you get.

Great price long range you need to program. I recommend an amateur radio license to lean more
Battery life is amazing! The look and feel of these radios is perfect. The pre programmed channels are good but they work a lot better if you take the time and program them to your needs. Off pre programmed channel one walki on higher elevation i got 4 miles out of them in town. Testing unpgraded programming today but better than pre programmed. Great starter radios and great for jobsites. Not a bad purchaes if you dont mind putting in some work

Great product. Walkie talkies are very clear. We use on our 5 acres and have no static. One issue is one of the walkie talkies display screen stopped working. I contacted customer and they shipped out a new one right away. Excellent Customer Service!!! Would buy again

Was able to pair the new radios with the old sets I had
I bought two of the newer models and was not aware that they did not automatically connect to older generation models that I already had in my possession. Fortunately, the seller was very helpful and worked with me to get through this issue and help me program the new radios to work with the old ones. Problem solved and happy customer. Thanks for your help.

Not even 1/2 mile range
I had high hopes for these after the English fellow did his review. Sadly, the reality was vastly different. I tried these in the neighborhood and after less than 1/2 mile, there was nothing. Close to that, it was all static. If it was possible to rate lower I would. These radios are absolute garbage if you want any type of range. I suppose if you were running security at an event they would work. So there’s that...

bases
i ordered a second batch of the same radios for back up and the bases are diff and need to be assigned bases per radio no time for that.
