Baby Play And Learn: 160 Games and Learning Activities for the First Three Years

This book has a lot of great ideas with clear illustrations. See pictures of my review for details. I’m so glad that I can spend time with my kids and play games with them to help them explore their senses rather than letting them watch tv all day. My 6 months old loves rain bath during her bath time and would reach her hands up high when I poured warm water on her.

It’s super old but nice

I run out of activities to do with my son when we are home. I love this book because it has many activities, broken out by age group, that require very minimal prep. The activities are very simple, but they are perfect for a little toddler. The book is black and white (nothing fancy), but it is perfect for coming up with quick ideas to entertain and stimulate a curious toddler. Even the activities for a younger age group have been very engaging and entertaining for him.

I got this when my baby turned one because I want to know more games and activities that will help her develop her skills and abilities. Every mom wants his/her child to grow up smart and intelligent so we do our best to give them what they need to be one. This book showed me the simple things that I can do at home that will contribute in my baby's early childhood development. It contains simple activities and games I learned that I can help my baby without buying expensive toys for her. Learning doesn't need to be expensive. This book is very useful it makes use of the ordinary things that we have at home like example the carton boxes, pillows etc

Although this hardback book is in black and white, the activities are well organized by ages (0-3 mo, 3-6 mo, 6-9 mo, 9-12 mo, 12-18 mo,18-24 mo, 24-30 mo, and 30-36 mo.). Before each age category, there is a summary of the developmental milestones that are characteristic of babies at that age level.There's a different activity on each page that lists the learning skills involved, the materials needed, what to do steps, variations, and safety issues. Most all of the activities are illustrated with black and white cartoon-like sketches.

Lots of good, easy activities. I like how the book starts with newborns and then proceeds by age.

Like many of the reviews I read before purchasing this book-- many of the games/ideas are ones you could come up with on your own. With that said, it's nice to have a little reference book to jog your memory and keep things fresh for your child after you have severe "mommy(or daddy)brain." I leave this out for our sitters so they have a quick guide to games too. It's good to have on hand.

babies can get bored. Read and do these games and problem solved + your baby learns lots from it too! Many of the ideas are available for free over the internet (if you know where to look), but this book has them all in one place. given the small price tag, think it's a worthwhile buy

Does what it says on the tin - great collection of ideas

Good book, very late delivery. Bought as a Christmas present, ended up being a birthday present. The book is easy to read with some fun suggestions for activities across the ages.

This book was a gift for my Niece . She loved it and so does my great -niece.
