I've been looking for a.black fabric type soaker hose for a while. It does a good job of keeping my plants watered without excess water usage. Low tech but works well and as expected. Will but again.

I used this hose in a raised bed, connected to a timer. Initially, it performed well, delivering a controlled, consistent drip. However, after just one month, it began leaking aggressively near the hose’s connection point, flooding the raised bed. The water no longer reached the far end, defeating the purpose of slow, even irrigation. It appears the hose may have burst or degraded prematurely. Very disappointed in the durability.

Works very well however water comes out every 10-12 inches. It still soaks area well just keep in mind you may have to loop it more around plants to get to the roots better.

Great hose. The only reason it's 4 stars is because if it's not on a flat surface, and it runs between mounds built up at tree bases, the water tends to run down the hose and drip off at the lowest point (which for me is between my trees instead of on the tree root ball.

we have a couple of these soaker hoses in use for some years now and needed another. I really, really like these fabric hoses (as opposed to the rubberish, round ones). These are so easy to snake around tree roots as needed and can be connected to each other for more length. Very satisfied with this item which was offered here at a lower price than in the box stores.

I purchased this soaker hose a couple of months ago but only started using it two weeks ago. Unfortunately, about a quarter of the hose is already torn. The damage causes water to leak uncontrollably, and the flow has been so excessive that a few of my planters have started growing mushrooms due to overwatering.This is incredibly disappointing—especially since I also purchased two more of the double packs based on the initial promise of quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone.As a long-time Amazon customer, I rarely write reviews, but this experience has pushed me to start leaving feedback on past purchases. I’m tired of unreliable sellers getting away with peddling subpar products and taking advantage of customers.

I think this works as it’s supposed to but it wasn’t exactly what I needed. I thought it would be putting out more water that would spread more but unless the item you’re trying to water is very near this hose it’s not really gonna get any moisture from it. I used it but I also put in some supplemental sprinklers to cover the area that this would not.EDIT:I purchased this item in May and it has already sprung a leak right next to where it connects to my automatic sprinkler box. I’m past the return period so I will just have to eat the cost, but I won’t be ordering this product again. I’ll be replacing it with a sprinkler flat soaker hose.
