Love these pencils!
Never having painted with watercolors, I thought these pencils would help me teach myself and I was not disappointed. There is a bit of a learning curve with how much water to use, and how to set it on fabric. I found that clear aloe was the best way to set the colors without them bleeding. It's been so much fun coloring and seeing the colors pop with liquid. The only issue I found was that even after they dried on canvas, if you add water again, it moves and doesn't seem permanent. But on the fabric, once dried, it's set. I was concerned about the price but it looks like even with heavy use, they will last a good while. Next time I will buy the larger pack! The colors are beautiful and I've been raving to my friends about them.

These are awesome. Vibrant colors, easy to get a fine point, doesn't break up like some do.

Truly vibrant colors
I like the product, they are very vibrant in color and blend fairly well. Once dry though they are permanent so you can’t correct only enhance.

Easy to use and versatile. Great on fabric, they can be applied dry or wet, they can be layered. Glad I found them.

A little pricey, but worth it
Soft, pre sharpened tips, and highly blendable colors, and once they sit and settle for a while, very little will rub off, it's very similar to just over inking something and chipping a piece off. When adding a little bit of water they react similarly to a mix between water color pencils and india ink, for a very pretty effect. They're a little pricey, but great quality pencils that I was first introduced with as a gift and just had to buy a bigger set. The leads are really soft so if you're a little heavier handed you may need to sharpen constantly, and if you aren't used to mixing water and colored pencils I'd suggest experimenting with a cheap pack of watercolor pencils for practice, mostly because of the price of these and how soft the leads are before they even get wet. Overall, they are a little pricey, but the quality does make up for it.

Brilliant Color
Are use these primarily on fabric that I quilt. I also have the inktense blocks so I can cover a larger area and then I use these to outline or do more precise coloring. They have brought my quilting to a brand new level.

Inktense are intense colored pencils that work like water colored when wet
Many instructional art books mention this brand so I got curious and purchased them. So glad I did. The colors are deep and vibrant. I love that I can add water and it behaves like a water color.
