OK, my walk-in-closet is so in love with me right now for adding this de-humidifier!! My house is built into the side of a hill, so it can get fairly damp, especially during rainy season. I have a whole house de-humidifier and unfortunately it doesn't affect my large closet. It has gotten up to 80%+ humidity in there and I worry about what it does to my clothes, including making them smell musty.This unit is SO easy to use - I love that it has a sleep or delay timer, it has a large water tank that's easy to remove and holds a lot, so I don't have to empty often (it is SO satisfying when you do though! lol). My closet went from 70% down to 55% in about 4 hours - I could NOT believe how much water was pulled from the air!!I"m going to get another one for my linen closet next!!

The compact and quiet dehumidifier really does the job of dehumidifying our living space. You can wash and reuse the dust filter and it comes with an extra one too. It also has a small pad in the air exit path where you can add a couple drops of essential oil to give your house a pleasant smell. It has a decent sized water collection tank, and it also comes with a detachable hose so you can drain the moisture directly to a drain, bucket or other humidity waste water solution. It is built to last and seems durable and solid with a minimalist design, that wont stand out. It has a switchable light that can be turned on and off but I love the blue glow it put out, and could be used as a night lite. Goodbye hot and muggy weather we get especially during the summer months. We have an average humidity level of 70%, and the comfort rating is between 40% and 60% for a normal and comfortable environment.

To minimize expenditures, I hang my clothes to dry. However, the allergies prevalent among my family members make outdoor drying impractical. As a result, I dry clothes in the basement, but the high humidity level causes extended drying times. The purchase of this dehumidifier has significantly enhanced the drying process, enabling clothes to dry within the same day

I Purchased this about a month and a half ago. It never picked up much moisture, but it had been dry out so I didn't think much of it. When my apartment flooded this past weekend I had humidity levels over 80% and after 24 hours of constant running it picked up about 6 oz of water in it with no drop in humidity. There is NO WAY this thing does 8.5 sq ft. let alone 850 sq ft. My apartment is 650 sq ft so I thought this would be perfect. Nope.I would have had more success and less time and money wasted if I had prayed to Ra to place the sun directly in me Unabomber style apartment than I did using this thing.

Overall, I am satisfied with this. I'd purchased a different one prior but after 3 days the water collected barely moved. This one does a really good job DOING it's job.Only thing is the comments will say this is a fairly quiet device and while that it true MOST of the time, I have found multiple instances so far where it struggles hard. I had left it on during the night one night and ever since then, sometimes when I start it, it struggles. I have to turn it on and off repeatedly for it to go back to normal. Not the biggest deal in the world, so keeping it for now since I'm within my window but worth calling out.Overall, my breathing has noticeably improved in my home and the humidity gauges I bought in tandem reflect decreases when it's on so looks like it's working and I'm glad for it.

I purchased the dehumidifier for a friend to help with her closet condensation. This works as described. I wanted her to be able to empty easily, and this is perfect for her.

I like them very much. When they first arrived I was skeptical because of the seize but they do a very good job. I run them 16 hours a day and have to empty the water container every 3 to 4 days
