È un disco che definirei spontaneo e anche rispettoso dei primi suoni di questa band! Il confezionamento in cartone è essenziale e privo di libretto come già avrete potuto modo di leggere, sembra veramente una produzione indipendente! Billy Corgan ci stupisce sempre ma è anche vero che è uno che fa come vuole! Le canzoni sono belle, molto spontanee, ripeto con un sound che ci rimanda agli anni 90 in maniera esplicita, quindi rispetto ai lavori precedenti che sono piaciuti e non piaciuti in cui c’è stata molta elettronica e diverso eclettismo…qui siamo sul genuino. Per qualcuno è una virtù, ad esempio tutti quelli che hanno criticato i lavori di fine anni 90 e quelli successivi, non trovando +1 punto di riferimento nella produzione degli Smashing. Ai quali comunque va dato un plauso per esistere ancora e per continuare a produrre, questo già vale tutto!
