For the money this is good value. In fact it works better than the defective Apple cable that never shows the green light when my computer is finished charging. Plus it's half the price.

So it your MB cord "looks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . ." (it should be just as good, right?) I mean it is made out of the same materials and just as high quality —But this has a cord protector that the original MagSafe 3 does not! I know — I just finished paying off my MBP and here is a photo of THAT MS3 and this one. This one has a tiny cord protector "strain relief" which is the crucial point. I mean the whole point of MagSafe connectors was that they were the greatest invention in the history of computers and everything should be using them. How many times over the DECADES have I tripped over a laptop cord and sent the laptop crashing to the ground?When I first saw the MagSafe cord in 2013 it was love at first sight, and then they tried to get rid of it and replace not with a USB-C. I think there were riots. I am super happy the MS connector is back, but now that third parties can make them — just as good as A____le, I m even happier. Not only does this come with a strain relief that protects the most sensitive point (and thereby extending the life of your power cord by years) but it is pink!Well, I looked. Apparently you can get them in different colors. Why is this important? Let's say that you are in a room of Mac aficionados and someone goes to yoink your cord. Yours id pink! (or blue, or red, or black, or whatever). They won't make it five feet without someone complimenting them on the color and you will know who took your cord. Also it is a great way to meet new people who appreciate your excellent taste in expensive laptops. They will be drawn to your stylish cable.And did you see the price? If you need one of these you know how expensive they are. This is just a great thing to have and I absolutely love mine. It is just as good (and even a tiny bit better — "quack, quack!") than the OEM.

I use a One Beat charging block to connect all my devises to my computer monitor, and this cable does not work with it. It works when I plug it into an Apple charging block, so I know the cable is in working order, but the cable is useless to me if it doesn't work with the block attached to my monitor.
