LOVE the new version!
Our family (2 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 8) got the Harry Potter Pictopia for Christmas which we loved so we decided to order the Disney version on Amazon. The first time we were sent the older version in the silver box, not the one pictured in the white colorful box. Since Disney changes so often we decided to exchange it and asked Amazon to please send the newer version that is pictured. We are so glad we did because they sent us the new version very quickly with no hassle and it’s awesome! Everything is updated from the pictures to questions and even the board game and pieces. I included pictures of it so you can see what the new one looks like. The box says 7 and up but since we have a younger kid we kind of change the rules a little so everyone can play. We just make it simple and try to ask her questions we think she could get. I like the question choices, they are fairly easy for a Disney aficionado but a little harder for younger ones. However, there are still questions you can find that anyone can answer so it’s really a great game for any group of any ages. You can play by the rules included for older players or just pick cards and ask questions to move along the board for younger players so it’s very versatile. Plus it’s colorful and pretty to look at! Overall it’s a super fun family game and I definitely recommend it to anyone that likes Disney.

Great new game to add to family game night
My 12 year old asked to play again right away! It took a little patience to understand the instructions, but once we got it set up, we started learning as we played, and we all loved it. There are many group answers so we might even be able to talk my non-Disney fanatic husband to play, but I played with my children ranging from 6-12, and it was a great new game to add to game night! We weren’t able to finish before bedtime so picked a last round and the person furthest ahead won. It’s made us want to rewatch some movies to brush up for some more answers. We’ve seen most of the movies multiple times and there were a couple answers we struggled with (none of my kids are huge Cars fans so we hadn’t seen those in awhile). Even if you know all the answers, there are enough strategies to still make it competitive, and my oldest was trying to come up with ways to win by forcing the wrong answer when he’s able to benefit himself. It’s a fun one!!

So fun for Disney fans!
Our friends let us borrow this for a beach trip and we fell in love! We are huge Disney fans and this trivia game is great! It was a bit easy for us adults but it's perfect for those who aren't as Disney nerds as we are and for older kids. We helped the 4 year old but even she was able to answer some! And we liked the various ways of how questions were presented and the wagering based on how much you know a category. It's loads of fun!! So we purchased for our daughter for her birthday.

Great Disney Fun!
My family loves all things Disney, so this game was a big draw for us just based on theming. That being said, it's a wonderful family game with a great design and a clever presentation of trivia where kids can jump in and actively participate with confidence. The pictures make it easy for kids to recognize the topics of the questions and make it easy for them to select answers. Their Disney trivia knowledge often surpasses the adults (that may not be a big surprise). We actually wish the game were slightly more difficult in that all questions are answered as a group unless you land on select "individual question" spaces. We have tweaked our house rules to make all questions individually answered and we like the challenge of that a bit more. But we have to use extra paper or extra mouse ear answer cards to play this way. It would be nice if Pictopia came up with a version where you could choose to play answering as a group or play answering as individuals. My kids are 5 and 9 and they love playing this game! The variety of trivia topics will keep you guessing and even if you are an avid Disney fan, there will be many cards that stump you. Highly recommended as a great family game and great Disney fun!

Great for Disney fans!
We play this with our 7 and 4 year old. We all love Disney and have loved playing this game. There are so many different questions on each card and so many cards that this can be played over and over again and not get old. Some questions are harder but most can be figured out pretty easily especially when it is an all play and you can figure it out as a group. We really like this game.

bit of a learning curve for some but great family game
we played this first time with 4 adults and four kids, from 7-62 years old. a diverse group of folks in temperament and interest lol. the game is a fun balance of simple enough in terms of identifying popular characters and related themes, and yet with some twist and turns in how it's played to also make it strategic and interesting for older players (besides just enjoying the fun the kids have with it). it worked across the age-span, and was even "competitive" enough that some frustration and annoyance surfaced, but i'd say it was in a good way, showing investment, i.e. like with your typical monopoly game, though this is easier and more fun.

The game is merely okay. It is too easy for anyone over the age of 10.
I am a big time board gamer and also a big Disney fan. My simple review in a nutshell: The game is merely okay. It is too easy for anyone over the age of 10. It is a simple trivia game wrapped in a couple of interesting mechanics, such as the "Meta-Answer" that borrows from Apples to Apples where the goal isn't to find the right answer, but to guess what the current player thinks is the right answer.I like that fact that they pull questions from the Disney parks as well as the movies. We all found the park questions to be the most enjoyable... but again, far too easy. We will probably end up tossing the game and just keeping the question cards at the dinner table to ask a few questions now and then.
