Why so much added sugar?

response to previous answer. A SMALL amount of sugar? in each bar there is 2 7/8 teaspoons of sugar. 3 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR per bar? That isn't a small amount of sugar. These suckers are sickly sweet.

With all of these reviews talking about expired items, can I really be confident that I'll get fresh and quality bars?

I received a box of Nutri-Grain bars this past Saturday (May 30, 2020), and the expiration date on the box is October 20, 2020. I've ordered these and other food items from Amazon before, and have never received anything out of date.

You are correct. 1 box of Apple Cinnamon, 1 box of Blueberry and 2 boxes Strawberry, all include 8 1.3-ounce bars per box.
