Chicago winters = slush and road salt. Chicago springs, summers and autumns = mud, construction debris, and, oh yeah, mud. This tray is large enough for 4 pairs of adult sized shoes. Because we have hard wood floors, I prefer everyone take off their shoes before they come in the apartment (I offer slippers for my "foot-shy" guests) and this tray is large enough to accommodate. I appreciate the size as well as the price. The construction is good, the design is functional in that it allows the water to drain and collects the solid elements away from the shoes. I recommend this anyone who needs a bit more than just a woven doormat outside their front or back doors. By the way, yes, I do recommend you buy two. The price is right and you DO have two entries, correct? - PEACE -

It is a hard plastic. Was using it to line the sink when I bathe my dog. Tried to drill holes in it for drainage and it cracked.

I searched for and purchased this boot and storage tray because my wife kept complaining I left my shoes on the floor in front of her bureau in the bedroom, instead of parking them with their shoe trees neatly under the bureau. She suggested getting a tray so the shoes could be slid under the bureau out of sight for overnight storage, and easily pulled out in the morning.My search led me to the Everything Boot and Storage Tray, and it works perfectly. Now it's much easier to put my shoes away in the evening and get them out in the morning. The shoes stay organized, and the tray slides out effortlessly and the neatly organized shoes are much easier to match up in the early morning darkness and while I'm still groggy. Plus the boot and storage tray provides an incentive to neatly store my shoes after work and over night.Most important, my wife is much happier now that my shoe mess is straightened up. I highly recommend this footwear storage accessory.

This boot tray is sturdy, easy to clean, and a good size to fit in a tiny space, such as the floor of a coat closet.The one drawback is that it seems to be sized for women's or children's shoes only. Three pairs of my size 7 women's shoes fit perfectly onto this tray, but only one pair of my husband's size 14 shoes can fit, and those just barely!This product does work to keep stray dirt, etc. from making its way onto floors and rugs, but it certainly is too small to be very useful for men's shoes.

To small, slides around the floor, and it's made out of a hard plastic, so not only does it skittle around the floor as you're chasing it trying to take your shoes or boots (if you could fit them) in to it, but it's a noisy, little, irritating, useless article that takes up space for no reason. Rubbermaid or Weathertech I'm sure make better choices in a higher quality tray. I suppose it would work outside a dollhouse.

I use one for a cat food and water tray and it keeps our hardwood floors clean and dry - easy to wash up.I use another one for a drip tray in the kitchen - keeps the water off the counters!And of course it makes an excellent boot tray for dripping shoes and boots - one for backdoor by garage and another in front when guests come over, and just stashed away when gone.Highly recommend it - well made and fast ship.

My cat insists on digging a paw full of food out of his bowl. dumping it on the floor, and eating from there. I even got large dog bowls to try to help...no luck. This mat is perfect, keeps all the stray bits contained, and washes up easily. And, an added bonus, water bowl spills don't damage our hardwood floors. Just got a new puppy and ordered another one of these for him. Perfect for pets.

Great large tray for multiple uses. I have two specific purposes for these trays.One is for the front door area. We live in a wet climate and we would end up getting a wet floor as a result of just leaving our shoes by the front door. These trays eliminate that issue as I can fit up to 3 pairs of shoes or boots onto one tray. We have two at the front door for my wife and myself.Second, we use these trays to bring in plants that we kept on our deck but know will not survive a cold and windy winter. This secondary purpose does a great job primarily in making sure our floors do not get wet when we water the plants and it makes the plants look neat and organized sitting in the tray.Sturdy, have owned for over a year with no signs of cracking or wear. Highly recommend.

The Tray is what I was expecting however it is advertised as a "3Pack" but when it arrived I only received one?

Said it was a 3 pack and only got one...

This was supppsed to be a 3 pack? Coulda fooled me.
