Best Wireless Router System – Fast, Reliable, and Covers Every Corner of Our Home
The Amazon Eero Pro 7 3-pack is by far the best router system I’ve ever used. We previously had an Orbi system, which worked okay, but it couldn’t compete with the speed and coverage of the Eero Pro 7. ✅ Performance & Coverage Handles 3 gig internet throughout our 5,000 sq. ft. home with zero slow spots. Supports 6 users simultaneously — work, school, streaming, and gaming — without lag or disconnections. Set up was simple and the system works seamlessly right out of the box. ✅ Recommendation & Value Highly recommended by our IT expert — and it lives up to the hype. Price is higher than some alternatives ($300–$1,700 for comparable systems), but it is worth every penny for reliable speed and coverage. ⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind Make sure the router system can handle your internet plan. For example: If you have 1 Gig service, choose a router system rated 2–3 Gig to future-proof your network. This helps avoid needing a new system within a year. Bottom line: If you want blazing-fast Wi-Fi, zero dead zones, and reliability for a busy household, the Eero Pro 7 3-pack is a top-tier choice. It easily outperforms Orbi and other systems we’ve tried.

Rock-solid upgrade — beats my previous tp-link BE25 3-pack, full AT&T 600 Mbps Wi-Fi speeds
I recently upgraded to the eero Pro 7, and it’s been a night-and-day improvement over my previous mesh setup. Installation was painless through the app, and the network came online within minutes. Coverage is excellent and, more importantly, it stays stable — no random drops, no weird slowdowns, just consistent performance every day. I had been using a 3-pack BE25 mesh before this, and while it looked good on paper, in real life it never felt as reliable. The Pro 7 is simply on another level in terms of stability and actual usable speed. Devices roam smoothly between nodes, latency feels lower, and everything from streaming to gaming is noticeably more responsive. For context, my home internet is AT&T Fiber 600 Mbps, and the Pro 7 finally lets me actually use it. On Wi-Fi, I’m consistently hitting near-full speeds throughout the house, not just right next to the main router. That alone made this upgrade worth it. If you want a mesh system that’s fast and dependable, this is a great buy. It’s been a smooth, frustration-free experience so far, and easily the best mesh setup I’ve owned. Highly recommended.

Easy install, monster speed upgrade, great app and on sale - perfect!
11/25 update - A few bugs have popped up. One change I had to make to get my Bluesound Node X music streamer app to work was to move the RJ-45 Ethernet cable that feeds the Node X from my Fios modem to the Eero modem on the open RJ45 Ethernet input on the back of the Eero node next to my Fios modem. The Bluos app would not connect because it thought the Node X was on another network, different from my iPhone 16 pro. When I moved the Ethernet cable, the Node X appeared in the Eero device list. The next day, my audio system and Sony TV also appeared because they are connected to the same Ethernet cable as the Node X through a Netgear Ethernet powered splitter. Existing devices keep popping up as new almost daily as the Eero nodes recognize the signals and devices. Original review - The easiest Wi-Fi upgrade I've ever installed! I was semi-dreading the arrival of the Eero system because no matter what product I have ever installed Wi-Fi hardware related, something always goes wrong. Not in this case - total compatibility, flawless and simple setup. I had the entire system including 3 Eero nodes connected to my Fios 1GB modem and the Eero app in less than 30 minutes. The Eero node connected to my Fios router/modem even automatically shut down the laggy Fios Wi-Fi from that older Fios device, no action required on my part. Cool! The nodes are hefty - they have some weight to them, and they are smaller than I thought they would be - about 1/2+ the size of my legacy Fios router/modem. See the photos of an Eero node next to my mini garbage can sized Fios modem/router. All the Wi-Fi "dead spots" from my Fios router are now gone and I have full Wi-Fi access everywhere in my home and my attached garage. When I rebooted my Windows 11 laptop it immediately recognized the new security protocols in the Eero nodes versus the Fios modem. I have almost 1gb up and 1gb down with Eero - with the previous FiOS WIFI, it was 1/3 to 1/2 lower - very laggy. Not anymore! All my Ring cameras, music streamers, Apple phones and every other Wi-Fi device connected without incident and run much faster, especially my laptops. There is a QR code in the box for downloading the Eero app which connects with the 3 nodes. There are 3 power cords and 1 RJ 45 cable to connect one of the 3 nodes to your main modem in the Eero box. The Eero app is terrific, it located my nodes fast and approved their locations quickly. I used Chat GPT as a primer before I started connecting devices and it helped speed things up because I knew what to look for and not look for in the setup. I'm very tech savvy; an audio nut & I can hook up almost anything audio or computer related. But I'm still semi-shocked at how easy setup was, how much better my Wi-Fi signal is compared to the Fios modem because something ALWAYS goes wrong. This is quality mesh system and a BIG upgrade especially for $150 off on a recent sale. I would definitely recommend the Eero 7 Pro mesh system with 1gb Fios internet speed because the Fios gear is wasting up to half that speed with its inefficiencies plus the dangers of its outdated security protocols. Hope this helps!

Totally worth the upgrade!
Upgraded from an Orbi system and went with the Pro version — absolutely worth the extra cost. Setup was a breeze, speeds are fast, and the app makes managing everything simple. No issues with signal strength and covers the whole house (and yard) no problem. Love the sleek design too. Only downside is the built-in VPN can slow things down or cause some app login issues, but I’ll keep the Plus plan for now to test it more. Solid all-around system with zero issues so far.

Worthwhile Expense - Great Coverage and Speed - Simple Setup
Great upgrade from my close to 10 year old Orbi setup. Would love to be able to hardwire the devices in the network but that simply isn't an option for my house. I specifically paid more for the Pro model for the dedicated backhaul band given my setup limitations. PROS: I really appreciate the simplicity of the setup in the app. While I have enjoyed tweaking and tinkering with my network in the past, I've discovered that modifying most of these settings are more trouble than it's worth. The Eero app is clean and simple and just works. Connections have been rock solid and I am amazed at the speed/coverage in relation to how far away the device is with hardware that supports wifi 7. I can be on a different floor of the house and still get speeds close to what I'd get when hardwired into the network. CONS: The hardware is bigger than I'd prefer. I wish they had a tri-band wifi 7 puck style device, but the great thing about Eero is new hardware is backwards compatible, so I'd imagine at some point they'll release hardware similar to the 7 Pro in a smaller package. Price was hard for me to justify. Had I not got in on a 20% promo with Amazon device trade it, I would have said it's not worth the price compared to the 6E tri-band. Overall, great hardware and investment in my home network for the next decade.

The eero pro 7 is awesome
The eero pro 7 mesh router is excellent. It isn't the cheapest, but I got it during the seasonal discount, so it was pretty reasonable. I helped my son upgrade his wifi to eero, and I was very impressed with how incredibly easy it was to install. The dead zones in his house were immediately erased with a powerful signal. I had an older mesh network at our home which was problem-free but became a performance bottleneck. The speed was limited. My network is now many times faster than it had been, and it has been error free, as well. I highly recommend this product.

Fast and easy install
Just connected to fiber optic system and previous wifi router (mesh) was having connection drops randomly. Contacted provider but issue was continuously recurring. Decided to upgrade to WiFi 7 and felt Eero Pro 7 was best fit. Installation was extremely fast with absolutely zero issues. Have had Pro 7 for over 2 two weeks with no connection issues. Extremely Pleased.

Security Cameras are Noticeably Faster with Eero Pro 7
I started to build a smart home less then 6 months ago. I used Xfinity XB8-T modem and router combo with speed of 1.1 Gbps download. It was an easy setup from my ISP to build a wi-fi network. When using Alexa with about 30 devices on the combo gateway from Xfinity the Alexa AI at times started to act up, like confused. Wi-Fi area is about 1500 sq ft. @ 60 feet x 25 feet and cameras outside at 15 feet from the building. In the back is the router, the wi-fi reaching to the front of building where most of the devices are. The Xfinity had good range to connect devices using a TP wi-fi extender. I started with one Eero Basic 7, and this was approved for my needs from the Eero.com Calculator, but only if I placed the router in the center of the building. With two new Earthnet Cables (Amazon Basic @ 50 ft) to move the router to the center of the building. I soon found out that wire placement was an ugly way to go. Also had two devices that seem to have weak wi-fi signal with the Basic Eero 7. I then got a new Eero Pro 7, for Gateway and Eero Basic 7 for the satellite extender. I am new to using personal routers other than the ISP combo pack. When setting up my new Eeros, I had to move wires and modem for a new set up and testing. I had some bad times with performance issues, I think Earthnet cables being moved from my previous set up caused bad connections and the RJ-45 connectors not setting good in the RJ-45 ports. I have a SE-3 iPhone for apps and an older One Gbps earthen port gaming PC. I also upgraded my internet speed after buying into Eero System to over Two Gbps and these old devices are not able to show the true speeds of this router system or even what speeds my ISP provides. Old tech cannot go that fast. The Eero 7 system shows Download Speed @ 2.30 Gbps and 340 Gbps Upload. RJ-45 connection needs to be sung in the RJ-45 ports for the best connection and speed. I had so much movement with the RJ-45 ports and connector clips I would lose my internet connection completely or have slow download speed on top of the time of day with Comcast ISP. So, my first review of the Eero Pro 7 was 3 stars, I removed the review after contact with the Eero Support Team, they do try to help you get the best system for your needs. Eero Support recommended, I get a pair of Eero pro-7s instead of using the Eero Pro 7 as a Gateway and a Basic 7 as a satellite. It is recommended to set up satellites at 20 to 25 feet apart. I got a new set of Earthnet Cat. 8 cables under 10 feet in length with new RJ-45 connectors that have a flange. The Flange holds the RJ-45 in place without any play or a sloppy connection. See Image of new RJ-45 in XB8-T RJ45 port. They are made for Servers Racks by the Brand: Cables Direct Online. Since I placed the Pro 7 near the ceiling in the kitchen, (see photo) there is no Air Flow for Cooling, these Eeros do get warm. I found this AC Infinity Quiet 140mm USB Fan, UL-Certified. can be used on its side or flat down. I had to use it on the side as there is no room to place the Pro 7 on top of the fan. My other Pro 7 is on an air purifier. I have seen testing done to compare Eero Pro to other top brands in the same price range, Eero Pro 7 won in latency on all tests, some by 50% faster. For download speeds at a distance, the Eero pro 7 did not win but was not very far behind. I now have 40+ devices, including TVs. The performance of one camera, Zumimall 5MP 5G is almost instance compared to a 1.5 second video lag I had before, sound still lags a bit. The other brand: Aosu cameras brings up the intrusion recorded video while it still going on if I click the notice. My cell phone is slower than the Eero 7 system when away from home. 3 cameras are AC power, one solar. I also went with the Eero 7 system for the Device Controllers and Guest Wi-Fi. Took a hit on my budget, but I like the speed and new tech. I still have problems with some brands of smart home devices, and I do not think it is because of the Eero 7 system, like eufy lock and Alexa. Update 5-27-25 Upgraded to Philips Hue Bridge with 14 lights and 5 motion sensors @ sale prices of 35% to 40% off. What a huge improvement to my Eero Wi-Fi Speeds when testing, using Speedtest app. I had 12 - 16 Wiz bulbs and sensors using wi-fi connection and Alexa. Wiz had vibration noise I could hear in each bulb, also showing device not connected in Alexa app and then Alexa would want to connect another Wiz bulb other than what I named it. Using the Hue bridge with their lights and sensors, the eero app, wi-fi radio analytics, device interference went down by 15%.
