Best option for your money
This stripper is pretty amazing. It's extremely easy to use. The body is solid, and the learning curve is minimal. I had a hell of a time stripping wires with the other style machine that had way too many adjustments on it. I never went too long before having to readjust the whole unit. It was maddening. This stripper is way better than the others. Don't be fooled by the price and simplicity of this piece. It does what you need it to do, and does it consistently every time. It's easy to adjust for different guage wires. So far I have stripped: 12, 14, 16 guage solid 12, 14, 16, 18 guage stranded wire I'm looking forward to trying different types and sizes of wire soon.

Solid Product.
Worked well for about 45 minutes, but then the top knob used to press the blade down became extremely difficult to turn. I'm not sure why—it wasn't dropped or exposed to moisture. Fortunately, after applying some WD-40 and letting it sit for a while, it started working like new again. Overall, it’s a solid product. If you're stripping thick wire, I recommend cutting it into 3/4-foot peaces, especially if the wire is kinked or uneven. The blade can slip off to the side, requiring you to re-center it frequently. Also, I strongly suggest bolting the unit down; it makes operation much easier and more efficient. Aside from the issue with the knob, I’d say it’s definitely worth the money.

Works Great. Worth every penny
Thus is a great machine, it is well built and simple to use. Set up is key, getting the right depth to cut through the insulation. Use a good drill with high torque for best results. Saves a lot of time, and physical work.

Efficient, Heavy-Duty Tool for Stripping Wires – A Great Investment!
I recently bought this Manual Scrap Wire Stripper Machine, and it’s been a game-changer for my DIY projects and recycling efforts. I’ve used electric strippers in the past, but I wanted something more durable and reliable, and this manual machine fits the bill perfectly. Here’s my detailed breakdown: Build Quality: Heavy-Duty and Durable Right out of the box, I could tell this machine was built to last. It has a solid, heavy-duty metal frame that feels robust, which is exactly what I wanted in a tool for stripping various types of scrap wire. The parts are well-machined, and the overall construction gives me confidence that this machine will hold up to long-term use without any issues. The machine is simple yet effective, with no unnecessary bells and whistles. The design is industrial and utilitarian, which I prefer in tools like this. It’s not just a gadget—it’s a workhorse. Plus, it’s compact enough to fit in my workshop without taking up too much space, which is a nice bonus. Ease of Use: Smooth and Straightforward As a manual machine, it does require some elbow grease, but once you get the hang of it, it’s incredibly easy to use. The instructions were clear, and it didn’t take long to assemble the machine and get it up and running. After setting the wire gauge, I was stripping wires within minutes. It comes with an adjustable blade and rollers, allowing you to quickly fine-tune the settings based on the wire thickness. The turning handle is smooth and comfortable to grip, and it doesn’t require much force to operate. I was able to strip copper, aluminum, and other scrap wires of varying gauges without much trouble. It’s especially handy for the types of wire that are too delicate or too thick for electric stripping machines. If you’re working with different wire sizes, adjusting the blade height and roller tension is a breeze. The wire feeds through easily, and the stripped wire comes out clean and ready to be recycled. This is a great option for someone like me who frequently works with different types of scrap wire and wants more control over the stripping process. Performance: Extremely Efficient This machine has drastically improved the efficiency of my wire-stripping process. I mainly use it for recycling copper wires, and it works like a charm. It strips the insulation cleanly off without damaging the wire itself. I’ve stripped everything from thin speaker wire to thicker electrical cables, and the machine handles it all with ease. The blade is sharp and precise, ensuring minimal waste. What really impressed me is how consistently it performs across different wire types and sizes. Whether you’re stripping a few feet or hundreds of feet of wire, the results are uniform and professional-looking. What’s also great is that I no longer have to worry about the machine overheating, which is a common issue with some electric wire strippers. Since it’s manual, you can control the pace without any risk of damage to the machine. Plus, I save on electricity, which is a nice bonus for both my wallet and the environment. Versatility: Handles Multiple Wire Types and Sizes One of the standout features of this machine is its versatility. It can strip a wide range of wire gauges, from very thin wires to thick cables. The adjustable settings allow you to strip various types of wire insulation—PVC, rubber, nylon, and more—with precision and ease. I’ve tested it on a variety of scrap wires, including old electrical cables, copper wires from home renovations, and even some aluminum wires from appliances. The adjustable blade and roller system allow for quick changes between different wire types, making it ideal for anyone who needs to strip multiple types of wire in one go. This machine has handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far, and it’s made my recycling efforts much more efficient. Durability and Maintenance: Built to Last I’ve been using this machine almost daily for several weeks now, and it shows no signs of wear. The blade remains sharp, and the rollers are still working smoothly. I do regular maintenance—cleaning it after each use and occasionally oiling the moving parts—and it’s held up exceptionally well. I also appreciate how easy it is to replace the blade when the time comes. The machine was designed for longevity, and with proper care, I can tell it will last for years to come. Value for Money: A Solid Investment Given the high-quality construction and efficient performance, I’d say this Manual Scrap Wire Stripper Machine is a fantastic value. It’s reasonably priced compared to some electric options, but what really sets it apart is its durability and versatility. This tool is perfect for anyone who works with scrap wire regularly or wants to get into wire recycling as a side business. It’s a solid investment that will likely pay for itself over time, especially if you’re serious about wire recycling. I’ve already saved a lot of time and effort, and I know that I’ll be using this tool for many projects in the future. Final Thoughts: Highly Recommended All in all, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The Manual Scrap Wire Stripper Machine is a reliable, well-built tool that makes stripping wires easier, faster, and more precise. Whether you’re stripping wires for recycling, home projects, or any other application, this machine is up to the task. It’s easy to use, durable, and delivers consistent results every time. If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality wire stripper that will last, look no further. I highly recommend this machine to both professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Works great on larger wire
It's a little off center making smaller wire hard to skin

The tool exceeded my expectations when it easily stripped Ethernet cables.
I’ve had doubts about buying one of these since I wasn’t sure if it would be worth it or not. This tool exceeded my expectations. It cuts so easily and handled everything I through at it including Ethernet wires. I’ve already stripped 35 lbs of copper from mostly 14AWG and smaller and the blade still looks and feels sharp. Packaging was good and quality was about what I expected. The only real downside is the gloves that come with it are tiny and useless, but that doesn’t matter because the tool has saved me 1000x the time it would take to strip all the copper with a razor blade. Haven’t used a drill with it yet and don’t plan to. I like using the handle to feed the wire a comfortable speed.

It was easy to use and well made... it was more than I expected for the price I paid. The bolts were provided which made it easy to connect to my work bench. I stripped wires for 3 hours tonight and it worked perfectly. Things to improve would be the set-up instructions as they were noticeably missing. If you buy this I would suggest the following: • I found the best setup was to have the wire feed hole set to a position below the top of the feed wheels (look at attached picture to see where I set the wire feed hole). This prevented the wire from moving to the sides. • Don't cut braided aluminium wire. It turned the wire to very sharp splinters. Straight aluminium wire is good though. Besides the time it took to figure out the best wire feed position it worked well. Once it's setup it moves through wire quickly.

A great tool, and a worthwhile investment! Right from opening the box this wire stripper felt sturdy, high quality, and like it was well built and assembled. Extra knobs, plates, and bolts for fastening to a table setup were also provided which was nice. I ran kilometres worth of wire of all varying types and diameters on the first day and it performed without a hiccup. Saved me many many hours of manual labour! I definitely recommend fastening the machine to a table setup and using a power drill for the most efficient stripping. You will need your own 10mm driver bit for a drill if you don’t want to hand crank. My only small annoyance was that setting the blade depth can be finicky, and needs to be set very precisely if you don’t want the rollers to skid, the wire to jam, or the wire to slip off the side of the rollers. Also, this machine WILL remove the initial casing of multiple - braided together - wires, but not nearly as effectively as once you have the wires down to individual strands. But these small annoyances are nothing compared to the time saving this tool provides. Just spend a few extra moments and trial runs to make sure your blade depth is set well, and that the face feed plate is set low enough to feed the wire into the rollers, and then up and into the blade. A few extra minutes in setup and you will have no problems! Overall, a very good buy. Knowing what I do now, I would not hesitate to buy it.

Es un buen producto, aunque requiere de una estructura para sujetarlo firmemente.
