freezes all the time, very slow response...lots of "not responding" messages
I seriously hate this computer so much. I chose to spend a little more than my usual $350 laptop purchase (my last one was also an acer and I had it for like 5 years without many issues) so I could have a little faster speed and use it for some video editing stuff. While I haven't even tried to use it for that yet, I doubt it would work because it always freezes up when trying to do very simple things and I don't even have more than one thing running. I.e. I am just trying to open up the control panel and I get a "not responding" box immediately. It's so annoying and I wish I would have never purchased this laptop. Not worth it at all... Maybe it's just the one I have, but it's seriously a POS. Not sure how long I will be able to put up with it being so slow and non-responsive. Also the touch pad/mouse thing sucks super bad. I always used the touch pad on my other laptops with no issue, but this one is so much less accurate and less responsive with the clicks and such.Hope this makes sense. I am kind of writing this in a rage because this thing totally sucks!

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT
Let's start out saying Amazon rocks, the computer came quicker than thought. That said, onto the computer itself!1. Worked great out of the box, very easy to set up and no issues encountered.2. The picture is poor to lousy, not easy to adjust!3. This is an i7 and it is expected to run fast... hence the 3 stars!4. Requires constant updating and cleaning to ensure speed.5. Performance is less than expected.Although it is an ACER, it should be performing better! AND I am no novice, having built my desktop for @10K to include VR/AR/MR for Gaming!Who should buy this laptop? Anyone in undergrad schooling. Not suitable for grad work, gaming or mid to high-intensity graphics, graphical interfacing or design. Adding a graphics tab caused hyper slowing!

Poor quality
Computer stopped booting up entirely after less than 60 days. I had to replace the hard drive. Not impressed.

bios upgrade to 1.21
that was all you had to do to make the pc fly go to acer and do a bios upgrade to the newest one
