The book is great for eager and keen minds who are want to find out how things work, often the kids want to know what things are with 101 daily questions, Well this may make it worse as they'll want to know even more after, this will keep the parents busier reading out the words for those younger ones it's fantastic!

My son is very enquisitive about how things work. I bought this item and having received it know he’ll really love the information it contains. The book has flaps to open which makes it more interesting and was excellent value for money

Fabulous book. My 3 year old grandson loves it and the lift up flaps make it even more interesting for children.

This is well done, lots of flaps, good range of equipment and good descriptions. The only downside is having to then listen to a 3 year old take you through each one in full detail ;-)))

Grandson has enjoyed reading this at bedtime (age 3), or rather having it read to him. Gives easy idea of how things work.

When my 4 year old starts asking questions about things, I go to Usborne's "look inside" range, they are excellent books with fun flaps and layouts that just keep my son's attention and he learns so much. This book is another shinning example of how Usborne takes what seems like such a complicated subject that us parents get tongue tied trying to explain and cuts it down into bite sized information that kids just get. Great book, recommend it and any other in "look inside" range, you won't be disappointed.

My 7 year old daughter and I love reading these books. This is a great addition to the series and provokes a lot of interest. Really sturdy and will last many many reads if you need it to.

Borrowed a copy from our library and our little one loved it so much we bought 2 books in the series! I love the creativity and thinking that went into these series of books. It is a must have for your little ones collections :D

Came in good pakaging. Book was in good condition. The content is good with kid-friendly attractive illustrations and concise explanations. Each page has so many flaps to explore. Worth the money.

My son is 3 and he loves this book. It’s got great topics and fun explanations. They got the refrigerator explanation totally wrong. I joke that it’s the “worst thermodynamics for toddlers ever” We enjoy!
