Compact yet efficient
I bought this compact portable iron for use during my recent cruise and was pleasantly surprised by how efficient it was. Though it doesn't offer steam output or adjustable temperature settings, its simplicity actually worked in its favor. The iron heats evenly and maintains a steady warmth, which was more than enough to smooth out wrinkles in a variety of fabrics—from casual wear to dinner attire. Its build quality feels solid, and the sleek, lightweight design makes it exceptionally easy to pack and use, even in tight cruise cabin spaces. The true win is its value for money. For such a minimalistic device, it delivers consistent performance and requires zero fuss—plug it in, wait a moment, and you're ready to go. No steam means no risk of leaks, and no dials to fiddle with keeps things streamlined. It’s a no-frills solution that’s perfect for travel, offering reliable results without the bulk or complications of traditional irons. A smart, space-saving tool every cruiser should consider.

“Wrinkle-free on the go—my new favorite travel companion!”
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I never thought a travel iron could rival my full-size model at home, but this little powerhouse proved me wrong. A few highlights:Lightning-fast heat-up: It reaches full temperature in under a minute, so I’m smoothing out shirts before my coffee’s even brewed.Ergonomic grip: The handle feels secure and stays cool, even during longer touch-up sessions.Steam quality:Surprisingly strong steam burst: For a travel iron, the steam output is impressive—perfect for stubborn creases in linen or cotton.Water leakage:After three business trips and one vacation, it’s still going strong—no leaks, no sputtering, and my clothes look hotel-laundered every time. If you want reliable, road-ready performance in a pint-size package, this iron is absolutely worth the suitcase space. Highly recommend!

If there was a larger version of this, I would buy it.
I bought this in 2023 but I am just getting around to using it in 2005. I bought it to replace another small iron that was recalled and also purchased from Amazon. I like this more than I thought I would. I really like that it is pointy on both ends. This way you don’t have to lift and turn the iron around. It saves time. When I first unwrapped it, I thought it had a long cord. But I will need to use an extension cord to not worry about it getting dragged to the floor. I originally thought the pad that came with it would be useless but it actually kept the iron on the on the table using friction even though the cord was too short. The iron fits my hand and feels good when ironing. It gives a lot of control over the iron. I’m not sure this got as hot as a bigger iron would but it worked. A lot of larger irons get really hot. Also the smaller iron seemed to get into smaller spaces like curves and cap sleeves easily.

Nice and compact
Very nice travel iron. It has its own case with a little spray bottle you can add water to and mist the clothing. The heating was quick enough, as well as hot enough. Very easy to use.

Must Buy
DISCLAIMER: I’ve only used this iron once, but it’s an absolute steal for its form factor, heat resistant silicone rest pad, carrying case, and small spritzing bottle. It’s actually really good. At this price point, everyone should have one if they travel. Hotels usually have an iron and ironing board, but what if that doesn’t work or your trip takes you to a place without those amenities? I generally travel with a carry-on only, and this will go with me on every trip. If you’re traveling with a checked bag, it’s an obvious choice.Long-term RV camping/Boondocking? It should be a requirement.

Decent
It was a bit smaller than what I had expected but does the job if you're looking for a iron on the go. The color is also very pretty and it actually comes in a little carrying case which is neat.

Portable and Handy, But Just Barely Gets the Job Done
Product: Newbealer Travel IronUsed for: 5 monthsKey Features:– Compact and easy to pack, perfect for travel– Simple to use, even for quick touch-ups– Decent build quality for a budget-friendly deviceRatings:Quality:The build feels okay—nothing premium, but solid enough for a travel iron. The handle could be more refined, and overall, it feels a bit cheap, but not fragile.Rating: 4/5Performance:This is where it falls short. It heats up very slowly and doesn’t do a great job on wrinkles. It’s fine for very light touch-ups, but don’t expect sharp, crisp results. That said, the handle design makes it easy to maneuver.Rating: 3/5Value:While the price isn’t outrageous, it still feels a bit high for what it delivers. If you’re on a strict budget and need a travel iron urgently, it could do the trick—but you might be better off investing in something more effective.Rating: 3/5Pros:– Super portable and easy to pack– Straightforward to use, even for beginners– Build quality is decent for the priceCons:– Heats up slowly and doesn’t iron very effectively– Handle feels a bit cheap and could be better designed– Feels a little overpriced for what it offersSummary:The Newbealer Travel Iron is compact and convenient, which makes it appealing for travel. But its performance is pretty underwhelming. It’s okay for the occasional quick press, but if you need crisp results or efficiency, you’ll likely be frustrated. Not a bad backup option, but not a standout either.Overall Rating: 3/5Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience using the product. Great Iron!
I love this little iron so much, I bought two! I am a quilter and do a lot of applique. This little iron has a ceramic soleplate with no holes, which makes it perfect for ironing applique designs. It is steam capable, but I do not use the steam. It heats to the perfect temperature for my applique and it's the perfect size for working on small projects. It works very well!
