Spidey powers, amazing results, does mirrors too
Wow! Great job. I have had this for about 18 hours and so far, it exceeds my expectations. Long review for those seeking more info about this great product, but hesitating. I own robot vacs, so not new to the experience. But because of those, I hesitated on getting one of these. The vac bots do well (not ecovacs, yet....) but have become very complicated and needy. Not the case with this bot. It and its app are quick to start to work, and simple to use! Set up the app first, it's quick. I have a 2 story home with over 25 windows. Some on 1st floor are nearly floor to ceiling. Takes a ladder to clean most- even inside. With bad knees, ladders aren't our friend - so I called a pro for an estimate- over $600 (inside & out). Nope, do it ourselves. This was a prime days deal, so with extra pads and ecovacs solution I was in at a little more than $500, beating the cost of a pro for one trip, but bot can do many more over it's 3-6 year life. It does a great job inside, though this larger bot can't do every window- some I'll still have to handle, but not enough for me to look at the smaller bot yet. Outside, fantastic cleaning, streaked one window because I didn't follow instructions and clean pad after each window, and mine were dusty. Fixed that by having a warm water/dawn solution in a small bucket followed by quick rinse. Inside, pad cleaning wasn't needed but about every 3-4 windows. It's about as loud as a vacuum on high power, so you won't want to use it in same room and try to watch TV. 😉 You also won't get to leave it for long - it's too fast for that. Cleaned my large windows on quick clean in about 4 min - on thorough same ones in about 6-7. Pros- no need for ladders -as long as you can reach the bottom part of a window well, simple setup and app, economically feasible over pros - comparable to self if using distilled water instead of solution - but less mess and work. Cons-this larger bot won't get my traditional mutton panes well, nor tiny windows (did still get two smaller ones, so check your window sizes compared to the bot size) - & look at the mini if you hav mostly very small windows. Docking station is a bit heavy, about 19 lbs, so moving the bot and station may be tough for some. Once in place, the bot itself is only about 3 lbs and has a handle. The back storage - and cleaner storage are convenient, but the back compartment is a little difficult for me to open- probably a me thing, but it is a little tough to pull out. And the door has to stay down if charging from the wall, I haven't seen a cord exit (notch to let the cords out while back door is up) making it less easy to move about, and a larger floor footprint while charging. To know- it pulls the cord out it needs from the dock, but the dock will need to be nearby. The bot isn't independent of it. But the dock can be charged so working with outside windows away from power is still possible. The cord easily retracts with a push of button to remove trip issues. Update, be sure to install app first. It works without, but you have more control with. Bot got stuck on door handles (glass door) and fought some (and lost some) on window blinds installed inside frame. App helps you watch for these and pause/remote control the robot instead of ending a job. I opted for the W2 pro Omni because it covered most windows and had the dock/portable power. Will look at a mini for future just because of smaller window possibilities and carry weight (not getting younger). Haven't tested upstairs yet, but the bot suction is very firm, so don't expect issues and look forward to clean windows without acrobatics there. Cleans inside and outside without much of a mess. Does have a few tiny drips, so I'd keep a small cloth nearby if you have delicate items (window sill/wood floors). I make more messes using water and a chamois. Outside, we'd have clean windows, but the patio, lawn, etc would be soaked as we sprayed water, climbed, cleaned, sprayed rinse water, repeatedly. Bot is much cleaner! Would recommend as a way to keep windows clean vs waiting for a year or scrambling to spruce up for visitors. The safety instructions say for residential only. I wouldn't hesitate to use on small buildings, but the cord length would stop work on high rises unless you could open the windows nearest the apartment. Overall, I highly recommend this if you have a lot of windows and don't like cleaning from ladders! Even without all my windows available, it will pay for itself in 2x over a pro; and probably about 4x over fancy extend-a-pole solutions (that will still drown your yard below). Perfect, not completely- but as good or better than what I can do - & a lot less work/much safer.

Very Simple to Use and Very Clean Windows
Very simple to use. Saves a lot of back pain. Never had windows so clean. The key is to change the wash pads after every windowpane, or you will just push the dirt and grime around. I have 34 windowpanes in my beachside condo and it takes some time to wash internally and externally. The plug-in model charges the battery while cleaning the windowpanes. The battery alone lasts about an hour and half and its good for a several windows at a time. Every windowpane requires changing or turning the wash pad over. So additional wash pads and cleaning solution is needed before starting a big job. If you use an exceptional wet wash pad, you will also need a paper towel to wipe the solution off the window at the spot where the winbot releases from the window. Some dirt and grime accumulate in the corners of the windowpanes, this will be your challenge, but you can buy small angular pads on a rod/stick that fit nicely into the corners you cannot reach by hand. The windows are so nice without the water streaks from only being sprayed off as was my practice in the past.

Window cleaning made easy
The Winbot W2 Pro Omni is worth it particularly if you have lots of windows or mirrors. It was super easy to set up and just as easy to use right out of the box. It works great for basic window and mirror maintenance cleaning and does exactly what it advertised to do. While it doesn’t remove heavy soap scum from shower glass (I had to try), it does clean normal everyday water marks really well. If you have a lot of windows, or if window cleaning is one of those forgotten or dreaded chores then this is a good investment for you. It saves time, effort, and honestly makes window cleaning feel way less overwhelming. Definitely beats hands on cleaning or hiring cleaners.

we live in the future - a bad future
Edit, 1 month later: The first few windows I did came out ok, but all the rest are streaky, and nothing I can do will get this bot to work right. I replaced the cleaning pad, and it didn't help. It's like the bot can't seem to drive in a straight line or something. I tried contacting the company, and they were completely unhelpful, I asked for a replacement robot (since it's clearly defective) and they just keep giving me the runaround "send this photo", "try this", and eventually I was fed up, and since it's still within the return window I returned this piece of junk. Old review: We totally live in the future! I can't believe I own a window cleaning robot. This thing is amazing!! You stick it on the window and it cleans it for you, I just can't get over that. The windows came out really nice, and it cleaned parts of the windows I've never been able to get to. But really, I bought this thing for my shower - my shower walls are very tall, and I can't reach them without a stool, and it's just difficult to clean. Instead I just stick this thing anywhere on the shower and it does it for me!! The parts I don't like: You have to buy the cleaning solution from them. I'm going to see what options I have for making my own. And you only get two cleaning pads, yes they are washable, but they are main thing that does the cleaning, and I'm sure I'll have to replace them.

Winbot greatly improves view along the coast but not perfect
Bought this a few months ago. We are very pleased with the purchase. The clean is not perfect - definitely see some streaks. However, living on the intracoastal waterway in southwest Florida, our wall of sliding glass doors constantly builds up a layer of saltwater mist blurring our view. The Winbot has made improving our view so much easier! We have 8’ tall x 4’ wide glass doors & it cleans them well. I was afraid it would fall off but has not once. The design is thoughtful & sturdy construction. The directions were not clear about the cleaning solution included - after much online searching I figured out the bottle of solution is to be put in the Winbot without any diluting of water. I do rinse the cloth between cleaning of each door. And have found hitting “return” on the app before it does the final two outside vertical passes helps keep the streaks down. And after I remove the Winbot from the glass I buff that area with a microfiber cloth. Would definitely recommend if you want much improved but not perfect.

Very impressed. Great design in a small package, easy to use.
I have a 2800sq ft mountain view home with LOTS of windows. For standard windows, large mirrors, and sliding glass doors this is my new best friend. Not perfect. Bug or bird splatters will probably need some touch up either before or after the window is cleaned but does a good streak free job of cleaning windows inside and out. Impressed by the lightweight backpack-sized package that carries everything you need (great engineering design!). Cable from the box on the floor to the robot easily reached the top of windows at 12'. Handled odd shaped triangular windows fine, (1st picture) but one of my windows the robot can't fit in the corner (robot size) so that required manual help (not the robot's fault). Got thru about 1/2 of the windows inside and out with the window cleaning fluid that came with the robot. Wish they had included more. 3 weeks to get additional fluid in through Amazon. They say you can use water and I'll give that a try on the rest of the windows and add an update. The only problem I had was more to do with the trim on my upper windows. Most windows have a bull-nosed type trim on the outside of the window (see third of the attached pictures). That works fine. My upper windows have a more wider and gently sloping trim (2nd of the attached windows) that the robot can't detect so it runs up on top of the trim, which breaks the suction on the robot and it either stops and gives a warning or twice fell off (I was in position and caught it luckily). It then defaults to manual (remote control) cleaning which I can't get to work well enough to get the window clean. Maybe with practice. In summary: easy to use, great design in a small package, does a good job cleaning the window but plan on ordering additional cleaning fluid when you order the robot and be cautious if your window trim on the outside is wide and sloped rather than rounded a bit.

Best thing since sliced bread
Work great. I didn't know the base of the machine couldn't be placed on carpet. I had to buy a piece of tile to place it on in my patio as it has carpet. Kinda disappointed but worked around it. All in all GREAT time saver as I have 2 - 8' and 2 - 6' patio doors at age 79 would have sore arms and muscles I never knew I had after washing them. No more streaked windows. I sit with coffee and watch my windows being cleaned.

Mission accomplished.
Bought this for one purpose: clean floor to ceiling windows that require too much manual effort. The good: mission accomplished. It took a lot of babysitting as you have to attach and detach the head from panel to panel, but windows are sparkling clean after dust storm and rain. There was definitely a learning curve, and with each panel, I learned more. The bad: To deep clean windows, which is the only mode for dust removal, it does takes a significant amount of time. You have to have the base attached to a power source otherwise the base runs out of power. Where the head stops, it leaves a square mark after you detach it. This has to be manually wiped. Too time consuming for smaller windows. Doesn't work when near screens. Doesn't work with asymmetrically shaped windows. Doesn't work in temperatures above 104 F, which is tough in the desert. Bluetooth connection with phone is lost easily with distance, thus you are tethered to the cleaning process for the duration. Instruction manual is useless. Tips: Definitely replace the pad with a new one with each outdoor panel. Not doing so will leave streaks. Buy extra pads, because it is easier than constantly rinsing the same one. Best if outdoor windows are rinsed with a hose the day before cleaning to remove rough dirt/dust. Definitely use their solution, buy extra ahead of time. Use deep clean mode for outdoor windows. Indoor windows can be cleaned very fast. Attach to power cord if you have a long job. Videos on Ecovacs website are great to learn about the machine before use.
