Extends well
Arm extends easily and manages the weight of the microphone well. Every night the arm is lowered so as not to weaken it, not sure if that was in the instructions, but if is helps to keep the arm strong we don't mind lowering it.

OEM
The Fifine CS1 Microphone Boom Arm is the exact replacement for the T669 Studio Condenser Microphone Kit and probably others. I have the T669 kit, and the boom arm gets a little trashed over time as does any metal objects will. While it still works perfectly fine, it was time for a replacement. What better replacement than the exact same arm?The Fifine CS1 Boom Arm is very lightweight and versatile. The base, middle elbow, and neck are three adjustment points allowing you to place your microphone in many different configurations. The joints are easily adjustable with just a twice of a small knob. No tools required. It even comes with a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter which is required for my microphone. You'll have a choice of black or white to match your room aesthetics. Can't go wrong with the Fifine CS1 Boom Arm as it's the OEM replacement. It works perfectly well with my T669 Microphone and will work with most other Fifine mics. Gotta give this one an A+.

Small footprint, very cheaply built.
It holds the mic it moves around but it picks up everything through those springs. I tap the desk and I can hear it ringing for like 20 seconds. I twisted up some paper towel and threaded it through the middle of the springs and that has helped significantly, but it doesn't look good. It has trouble with where the springs are located and how to tighten up each joint, and the steel is not fully boxed it's c stamped. Very lightweight and a small footprint and it actually holds the mic. I'm not sure quality matches the price here.

Great looking,I love the flat white.
This microphone boom arm came with a mount clamp and is a scissor style mic stand with a dual size adapter for microphones. This boom came in a white color that was very clean looking and was finished nicely. There was no scuff marks or any dark spots on it. The white on this is matte finish and the springs are of a good quality and don't look or feel cheap. This also came with a table clamp that is also white in use. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this microphone boom arm but needed something to hold my microphone on my desk. This boom arm looks great in my space was easy to put together. It attached directly to my shock mount and feels secure attached to my desk. I have read that these boom arms don't hold up and are very flimsy. This one does not feel like that. Wherever I have put this boom arm, it has stayed there so far and feels like it can hold the weight of my microphone with a shock mount on the end of it. I have positioned this in several different ways and it has stayed right where I put it every time and has good range of motion. This is still a new unit, but this doesn't feel flimsy at all and has a solid strong feel to it. I also like that I don't have to tighten this into the clamp allowing it to swivel but that locking it into place is an option. This boom arm looks a lot better than I expected and I really like the white flat versus the black ones that I've seen. This also seems like a quality scissor style boom arm.The value on this feels really good. The price versus the function of this mic arm feels like you're getting a good value. The build quality of this seems sufficient especially for the price giving this a good value at the time of this review and in my opinion.Overall this microphone boom arm has been a great addition to my small studio and fits in my space well. I will update this review if this doesn't hold up overtime but I can honestly say that I'm impressed at the quality of the build of this especially for the price. I would have no problem recommending this to somebody else. The white color looks great.

Limited articulation
Depending on your desk setup, this could be totally fine or could be unusable. The mic arm has limited options for positioning due to its construction, but depending on where you could mount it it could be totally unobtrusive.I wouldn't recommend this if you like to grab/move the mic a lot while recording, but if you want it to stay in one place then it's an inexpensive way to hold your mic off your desk.
