Clairol Root Touch-Up Temporary Concealing Powder, Black Hair Color, Pack of 1

I needed something to help hide an unfortunate bald spot I am getting on my temple, just one side of my head where the hair seems to be receding. It is driving me crazy and I am so self-conscious of it! But this product seems to work well in helping to hide it a bit so it's not so in-your-face. I think it has good coverage and it is very easy to apply.

I felt a little silly ordering this but I have more gray than I'd like around my temples. This is almost like an eye shadow pan with a longer brush. Easy to use and apply. Looks natural and lasts a long time. Absolutely worth what you pay for. I will say it's not for a full head or a large area. Better for small patches or areas.

Great coverage. Color is a good match. I've always used Madison Reed, but I like this better. Spreads easier and stays on for several days. The included brush works well, but it's small. I bought a BEAUTYFACTOR brand flat foundation brush from Amazon. It's wider but very narrow for easier coverage. I will continue to use this product.

This is absolutely terrific at covering my gray roots in between salon visits! I have dark blonde hair, and used the light brown powder. It looks very natural, like low-lights in my hair. I put the powder on clean, dry hair and it lasts until the next time I shampoo. It holds up all day in hot, humid summer weather and stays exactly where I put it -- never ever drips or runs. I rarely write reviews, but this product is worth it!

I bought the dark brown color for covering the gray roots along my part. Although the color in the pallet appears very dark, it does not go on as dark. It does not cover very well, but provides more of a blended appearance so that the grays are not as stark in contrast to the rest of your hair. It does not cover nearly as well as spray, but it also does not leave a hard residue like spray does. I put my glasses on top of my head and back on again throughout the day and I have not had any issues with color transferring to my face like I have when using spray. It should last longer than a spray product, and you don’t have to worry about getting it on your scalp, which can look weird with spray. Those are the main advantages I can think of with this product. It also washes out easily, and you will not see any dark mess in the shower.

I did a fair amount of research prior to purchasing; compared this product to the spray on version. I selected this because the spray on had lots of comments about it being kind of goopy and transferring. This was so easy to use and the coverage is so good - no transferring. I just wish I had tried it years ago. It will save money in that I won't need to color my hair as frequently and one pallet of the powder should last quite a long time. I use it on my part and around my ears or "side burn" area. I wash my hair every 2-3 days so it doesn't dry out, and this stays in place until washed out. Fabulous! I highly recommend this product!

Great product to cover the gray. It's simple to apply and doesn't leave smugs on clothes or skin. Highly recommend.
