Fantastic little companion
Great series of books - more topics required. Lovely for children that learn alternatively.

It’s ok...
Well...this book wasn’t exactly awesome. It had nice photos and some information but their use of large and odd words was not great for kids. Also, it was written in a very boring tone. My kids are 3 and 5 and quite outdoorsy so they know that a tree is deciduous or coniferous and this book just said that some trees loose their leaves and some don’t...so, if your kids are really new to ecology you should try it and if they know a thing or two, skip it.

Limited information
From the appearance of the book online, it looked like it would have a lot of actual botany information and perhaps a significant quantity of text content. I had bought this for 8 year old who wanted to learn about botany but was disappointed to find that there were single sentences on the pages and large font - suitable for kindergarten child. The book did not go into the 'botany' of plants and instead was a general overview of plants. The pictures were excellent. A young child age 4- 5 would like the book.
