Lightweight, easy to use & effective
Fabulous tracker. Very pleased with the ease of use and how accurate it is. The tab that attaches to my cats collar is not too big either & weighs very little.

Brilliant for reasonable distances
Our cats only wander locally and for around an hour in the evening. It works exceptionally well for us and can generally locate them quickly.

It works ! but is not a GPS.
Our cat is a rescue and is a indoors cat he is only 2 so gets into all sorts of places several times we thought we had lost him. Tab cat works for indoor cats we have found him every time but it's range is limited. He did get out once but I soon found him I just had to walk up and down the road until I got a signal he had gotten inside a shed but tab cat took me straight to him it just took a little time.

Already paid for itself
We seem to have the only cat in the world without a sense of direction. After multiple instances of our cat, Radish, going missing and having to be found and brought home we ordered Tabcat after doing a bit of research. We initially chose Tabcat over other brands due to its discreet size, having quite a small cat. Well the day after we programmed it Radish went missing. Initially he was out of range but we walked down the road a bit and was then able to follow the tracker to his location. I was really impressed with the accuracy of Tabcat. He actually got into the bonnet of a car and was sitting on the warm engine. I would have never have found him otherwise because he was completely out of sight, but because we were sure of his location we knocked on the owner of the cars door and got him to pop the bonnet. This has really made life a lot less stressful for us. We were previously considering putting Radish under permanent house arrest which would have been a nightmare for everyone as he’s slightly wild and loves the outdoors, and now we don’t have to.

My cat didn't go too far when he had this on his collar, but it was still usually hard to figure out where he was as the range is quite short. Even so this was the first time my cat wore a collar and he managed to take his collar off and bite through the tracker and destroy it. The main thing it is good for is just training them to learn that the beeping on the tracker means it's time for food.

Utterly useless.
I lost my cat two weeks ago after he was run over in the street and ran into a neighbouring garden, and have been unable to find him despite sweeping every garden in a two square mile area with the TabCat tracker. The irony is that he had a GPS tracker before but I swapped it out for the TabCat because it was a couple of grams lighter. I thought I was doing him a kindness, instead my decision has probably caused his death; if he had had the GPS tracker at the time of the accident I would have been able to narrow down the search area within a few hours.

This tracker can see through walls! Max range maybe 80 metres line of sight
I checked several alternatives (and had previously bought one which was heavier, and which suggested charging weekly). But this worked. The collar-fitted device is small and well tolerated, and when the little scamp was out it proved effective - It found him through the (single skinned) brick wall of the barn at the back of the garden (when I suspect he got locked in after unsuccessfully chasing pigeons), and again when he was in a field further away. I bought this in January, and while not that often used, it found him yesterday, so it's endurance is impressive. I estimate the range to be about 80 metres direct line-of-sight, but perhaps half that round corners or indeed, through a wall... Recommended, though if your cat is a farm cat you may need to do some walking!

Great tracker
I've had these for my cats for years, and they've saved the day many times when the cats have got shut in sheds, wardrobes etc., or have just gone a bit too far from home. As I recently got a new addition to the family, who is known to be a wanderer, I decided a tracker was a must. The new silicone cases are a pig to get the tags into, but once they're in they're very secure and protected. Very pleased with the product, as always.

I have had excellent success with this product on my two cats. I have always been able to find them, even when they are hiding in a stone out building. Easy to use and set up. I have not had any issues with the battery going dead yet, and I have used it many times. Not too big for on their collars either. I recommend this for sure. **I have not tried to use it for extended meters. I have used it for up to 50 meters.

This is the best thing ever! It leads me right to my cat and if I lose his collar then the tracker will find it. It goes off after 45 seconds, but then you just have to press the channel button again and it keeps on looking. This has saved so much worry and I can get my cat inside whenever I need to. I tell all my neighbours with outdoor cats about it. Thank you so much for this wonderful product!
