Almay Makeup Remover + Foaming Lotion Cleanser

I don't use a lot of makeup but I use it daily. I saw this being recommended at Beautypedia and it's one of the cheapest items recommended with 5 stars, so I thought I'd give it a try. If this doesn't remove makeup I thought I could use this lotion cleanser as my 2nd cleanser. But wow this does remove my makeup and very gently! Sure it doesn't remove waterproof mascara, but sunscreen + bb cream/light foundation + bronzer + blush + powder are all removed easily with this cleanser. The texture is like Cerave's hydrating cleanser. It's very emollient, emulsifies and doesn't foam. I also like how even if I overdo the physical motion of cleansing (massaging), the cleanser is so gentle that this does not irritate my skin. Oil cleanser is great but when I over-masage my face it can get slightly irritated. But not this! I wished I tried this product sooner!

Takes my makeup off and doesn't irritate my skin. I found it best to put a small amount in my hand then rub them together and onto my face. Next wet my hands and lather it up on my face. Wipe with a cloth or tissue and it takes all the makeup off including mascara.

Well I needed a good makeup remover that wouldn't dry my skin out. This works for that. Though it doesn't work on eye makeup or liners. It certainly doesn't foam either. The lotion part is nice after using eye makeup remover and keeping my face feeling hydrated.

Love this stuff. It's the best eye makeup remover. It doesn't burn like so many out there and it also doesn't leave an oily film on your eyeball like so many removers out there. Almay should remarket this as an eye makeup remover, period.

I am not sure why people on the comments are leaving good reviews. I read some of the reviews that said that this product doesn’t foam up at all, and I figured that it wouldn’t really matter as long as it actually worked. Not only does it not foam, it doesn’t clean anything. it doesn’t take any of my makeup off, after using it I just feel like I have a film on my skin, and it just plain doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money.
