I bought this splint to replace another more expensive brand which stretched and became unusable. It was the ideal choice. It doesn't stretch and lasts long. It is substantial without being too bulky. There is plenty of space for the fingers to be used, washed etc. There is a metal frame inside which supports the full length of the thumb to the bottom of the splint. This isn't just a thin strip: it moulds around the back and front from the base of the thumb to the wrist. This can easily be shaped to the individual to maximise support. For me this was a very comforting secure feel - probably it's best feature. The strap between the thumb and index finger can dig in and become sore but this is easily resolved/prevented by inserting a little cotton wool pad. I find it very comfortable to sleep with at night and it is easy to wear through the day. This one I would definitely buy again.

A good well made support strap but unfortunately unsuitable for my problem

Sprained my thumb, needed something to immobilise and protect from knocking it on stuff, this works well and gives good all-round protection with the wraparound metal plate and placement of buckles. Quite fiddly to get comfortable without cutting off circulation to the thumb (I imagine if I'd hurt myself worse this may have been difficult - not sure what design wouldn't though I guess?) but once you get it right it's comfy and soft enough to forget about. Plus, a bit fiddly is a trade-off for it being a universal fit, making it a more useful first aid kit item in the long run. I'm a female with small hands so was worried it would be bulky or oversized but the S/M size is completely fine. Can't imagine how much better ones costing more would be really.

Very good - perfect fit ( I’m 5’4 small to medium frame) comfy and very well made. Does exactly what I need - immobilises my trigger thumb. Great purchase.

I bought this for tendonitis in my thumb. My neighbour got one and swears by it. Unfortunately I found it difficult to do up. Couldn't use my hand at all with it on and keeping my thumb so straight caused more pain than normal.

I have what's called trigger thumb a continuous cramp & pain from my thumb joints. I bought this to see if it would help & it most certainly has. I wear it day & night to keep my thumb straight. I have really big hands their like shovels & I've got an 8 inch wrist circumference & this product fits perfectly I'm very pleased.

I was given a hard plastic splint by the hospital after thumb CMC surgery. After a week it was making my thumb and hand sore. This one is soft, yet firm. I love the way you mould it around your thumb so it is comfortable. Although my wrist is 6.5” I bought the s/m size and it is fine.

I had a trigger thumb that was very painful as it kept getting stuck in the bent position. This thumb splint is doing the job. After wearing it for around 3 weeks the pain has subsided greatly and the thumb doesn't get stuck in position any more. It's not a complete cure but a huge relief. It's well made, comfortable and washes well.

Super fit for my arthritic hand and thumb. The pain is less, easy to put on, durable. I sleep with it on too.

Ergonomico, protettivo, calzante. Cercavo una protezione che arrivasse quasi in cima al pollice, avendo sviluppato una tendinite con dito a catto x ultima falange del pollice e questa lo fa. Avvolge e tiene fermo il dito, impedendo la flessione dell'ultima falange. Dovrebbe aiutare a superare il periodo di max infiammazione, che sto trattando adeguatamente. Questo tutore mi pare ben fatto, tiene fermo ma senza costringere in modo forzato, lo consiglio.
