Moff Band - Wearable Smart Toy, Orange

This is a useless toy i purchased for my kid. From the movie I thought this toy actually detect the movement by the child and play appropriate sound this why this cost 55$. but it just shake it and it play sounds. the idea is nice but very poorly done except this it keeps disconnecting from the iPhone, the app keeps freezing.it's not worth more then 5$.... gonna return it.

Fun, probably not worth it. This worked fine as the special occasion party toy that it was. Kept the kiddo entertained and entertaining everyone else throughout the long family party. We still play with it, but it's not going to be our go-to toy.I scratched and bent the back cover trying to twist it open before I just pried it and it popped right off. I didn't get it to go back on tightly, but it's a good thing we're past the eat everything stage.

I gave this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it says it will do - it links up to your iPad and makes noises when you wave your arms. Kinda cool - but some might think therein lies the problem - that is, you have to be pretty active and fairly close to the device. Might be more usable if it was also a watch - as is, it has limited usefulness as it's only good during heavy activity.

We were very impressed with this toy. It doesn't just make sounds when you move your arm around, it senses the direction and speed of the motion to a certain extent. So, on the drum set setting, with a little practice, you can consistently go from snare to tom to cymbal. This was way more than we expected. It's a ton of fun for my six-year-old and for me.

the battery compartment hard to open, It is too shallow to use a coin. I had to pry it open using a screwdriver. Luckily it closed easily after I had to bend it back into shape. The band worked fine with my old iPhone 5, but I could not get any sound with my IPhone 6+, which means I'll have to carry around both phones for my grandson to play with it. I think the battery part could use some redesigning. Also wish that it was rechargeable. Otherwise the product is a good start. I am not sure if I would buy again, the design is not worth $55.

I thought my son and husband would love these...turns out the sound has to come from the iphone...so unless you plan to put your phone in your kids pocket while he plays with his friends...this is all but useless as an actual toy. Simple amusement for adults perhaps...it did have a lot of sound options but they didn't really change based on your movements to very much. All in all, the reliance of being close to the phone to make the sounds made it annoying more than fun. It needs it's own built in speaker.

My 6yr old loves this but it is a pretty expensive toy and needs the phone or iPad near them the entire time. Also, only one person makes the noise like lightsaber, swords clanging etc... So it is fine when you are playing with an adult but if another child is there, they would want one too. So if you have multiple kids, I don't think I would recommend this item. It would cost you over $100 just to get two of them and that is really pricy. I am not sure the longevity of this toy. My child has played with it for a few days. The app on the iPad reminds her more than locating the bracelet. I think the concept is great but I think not having the sounds from the bracelet make it tough for kids running around and playing outside. I will update in a few weeks to see how my child's interest is holding up.

I purchased a Moff Band for my son and he absolutely loved it! It keeps him occupied for hours and it is definitely a hit when he has his friends over. He is particularly fond of the baseball and sword sounds, but there are so many to choose from when you download the app. I like that the band simply snaps onto your wrist and is durable for crazy kids! I would recommend this product for all young children and it makes a great gift for the holidays. Moff band is a truly unique product that allows kids to use their imagination and be creative. I am very pleased and would definitely purchase this product again. MOFF ALL THE WAY!
