The best thing you will buy if youre breasfeeding!!
These are the absoulte best. I've never been happier with such a small purchase. Prior to getting these I was really struggling with worrying aboit my supply, pumping between sessions to try to gauge what baby was getting (which isn't accurate since baby was feeding too and because baby is always more efficient than a pump)Not only that, I'd have to reach for the nearest blanket or cup to catch drips from the opposite breast while feeding him. They seemed like just a few drips....never thought it would be worth trying to saveEnter this simple device--- from the firdt day I used it I am collecting at least 1.5 oz at each feeding. Sometimes 2. At this time that was a whole feeding for my baby I could save for later. Now I save it and later add to it again making 3-4 oz. bottle that dad can give. It's very simple to use, just attach to the breast opposite of the one baby nurses on..it applies light suction (you can play with the amount based on how you squeeze it prior to applying. I stick with a light suction and get plenty) which helps drawith the milk out during letdown. This is such an easy simple way to relieve the other side and to save some extra milk for feeding or storing for later. My baby usually just nurses one side, but sometimes I will place her onto the other side and she does not mind at all that there's a little less milk aftet using this. And I ordered these two because they were the same price as one. Now I'll have a backup justbin case. These appear to be the exact same as other brand name silicone pumps, same design on the cup and everything....just a cheaper price

The best time to use this is when you are nursing ...
NOTE: This is not a manual pump, but just collects your leaking milk. The best time to use this is when you are nursing your little one on one breast, and to have this on the other breast. OR, if you can only pump one breast at a time, you can have this collecting your leaking milk on the other breast. You may not see milk leak until you have your let down. I had the Haakaa, and I needed extra ones, because I hated cleaning one every time I needed one. This worked just as well to the brand Haakaa. I did not notice any difference in the milk collected. The price is worth it. The caps do not protect the milk from spilling, and only to protect from air particles from falling in, so be careful when you set them down or you will spill precious liquid gold like how I have done a few times. It really does hurt your heart when you spill your milk. I actually don't use the yellow caps. Instead, I put saran wrap over them and leave them near my bed where I nurse my child, and just reuse the saran wrap when it has milk in it. It will protect from spills if you accidentally knock the bottle over.Tip: Roll the base back. while holding the base back, then squeeze the bottom, and put over the breast with the nipple in the middle of the opening to avoid the nipple rubbing against the walls. Then release the squeeze to create the suction. I massaged the breast down to the bottle also to get more milk.

A MUST HAVE!
This is hands down my favorite breastfeeding item. I was nervous to buy this brand instead of the haakaa, but I believe they work just the same. I started using them in the hospital on one breast while my baby nursed on the other. I believe it helped my milk come in faster. For the first month or so, I continued to do this and built a nice freezer stash before I ever even got out my electric pump. I now use it mainly in the morning when I'm most engorged. I will use them to relieve the engorgement so my baby can latch better. I usually get 3 ounces from each breast before he even wakes up yo feed! I just adore this product!! It does take some time to get used to auctioning it on, and I'm more successful when I use my hands to massage the letdown. The tops are basically worthless as they do not stay on and you have to be careful not to knock the little things over. I've had my fair share of milk spills! Also, I've found that my dishwasher leaves spots on them, but the medela sterilizer wipes work great at cleaning them!

Very convenient. Works well.
I really like that these suction well enough to be hands free while breastfeeding and not wasting milk into a pad! It is convenient and helpful. I haven't had any suction issues. You just have to make sure you position it properly so the suction stays. I gave a 4 instead of 5 because I assumed the lid would also prevents spills like normal lids do; it does not. It basically just serves as a cover and not a lid because if this is tipped or knocked over your milk is gone within seconds even with the "lid" on it. I attached pictures attempting to show it is doesn't actually lock in there is just a notch hanging on to the silicone not an actual seal. Other than that, I am satisfied and will continue using. If youre not sure how to properly apply look up "How to apply HAKAA" on YouTube and it is most helpful!

It's not what it says it is, but is is good at what it is.
I wouldn't call this a pump at all. This is a leak catcher, milk saver. It is a great tool, but if you are looking to get volume, it's not what you're looking for. I use this after I haven't fed for a while, either right when I get home from work, or first thing in the morning after my baby has slept through the night. Here are the pros and cons:Pro: You can get an extra 3 oz of milk if you're breasts are really full. I save this in a bottle and usually get an extra feeding out of it.Pro: Light weight and I don't have to get tangled in cords to use itPro: Easy to use. Suction cup it on and you're done.Con: Because of the shape of my breast it really only holds about 1.5 oz before it starts leaking. I have to change them out when they get to heavy. *but* it is nice to have two of them on hand so I can do that easily.Con: The lids don't really snap on. They don't prevent leaks when you knock it over.Con: It's billed as a pump. It doesn't really pump.Overall I'm not disappointed with my purchase. I'll keep using them to capture my extra milk.
